sorry for how short this one is, I'm just trying to get something out while I have time.

Pasteurization is the process in which heat was used with milk in order to kill bacteria. That way it was safe to drink, to consume the liquid with ease and comfort on the tongue, knowing the purity it was believed to be.

Ryujin often thought her job was like that. Killing bacteria that was more harmful than the act of killing. Even though, such vermin were human. Perhaps it was her bottled rage that coursed her when she stabbed the boy through his heart not one bitter time but seven.

"Ryujin I got the towels you- oh my god." Yeji said, dropping the neatly folded fabrics to the ground. The brunette didn't seem scared, only a bit startled by the display she was supposedly not going to bestow upon his frail body.

"I lost control." Ryujin hummed, then cut herself off. "No, I had complete control." Ryujin walked over, bending down and picking up the towels. Yeji gazed at her, bloody hands and red-ish eyes. Though, instead of using the towels to clean up she tossed them to the side.

"We can't just leave a body-"

"We won't be. But, I want to teach you a bit about feeling." Ryujin explained, voice low before she kneeled next to his lifeless corpse.

"Feeling? Do I not feel enough?" Yeji quipped, curiously stepping closer. That's when Ryujin picked up the knife again, and with careful hands she held it out to Yeji. Her eyes were dark, perhaps with the lust of killing another, perhaps with the thought of Yeji stabbing a corpse.

"Stab him." Ryujin said, her voice escorting Yeji over with the tone alone. Hypnotizing as herself sometimes. Yeji took the knife with only a few quivers before kneeling down next to the raven who seemed awfully calm.

"Is he.. not dead?"

"Oh no my dear, he is very much dead." Ryujin smiled to her, then moving behind the brunette and taking her hands in her own, guiding her with the blade just below where her own caused stab wounds were.

"Then why must I stab him?" Yeji gulped, a sweat forming on her forehead. "To bloody the flooring more?"

"To get used to the feeling of your own blade sinking into flesh." Ryujin whispered, her breath against Yeji's ear, her front pushing against her back.

"Ryujin I-"

"Didn't you want this life?" Ryujin's voice was a little more straightforward. Her hands held firm around Yeji's though, finding it hard not to stab him again with her own force. But no, she wanted Yeji to be the one to do it.

"Well yes, but I..."

"But? Did you not want to murder the ones who deserve it? Did you not want that sweet revenge?" Ryujin's eyebrows crinkled, she seemed a little upset that Yeji wasn't completely interested anymore it seemed.

"Ryujin I did but I thought you had no one else this year. This man was innocent, stabbing an already dead corpse seems cruel." Yeji's voice quivered, and her body shook in fear of how Ryujin would react given a knife was just under her tips.

"Innocent?" Ryujin's hands gripped tighter. It was the same rage returning to her. "You've gone soft on me." Ryujin said lowly before taking matters into her own hands, crashing the blade down with Yeji's under her own. The brunette gasped, feeling a spurt of blood on her hands. The raven was silent as she stood, leaving Yeji alone with the body as she shut the door.

"You've gone soft on me." Yeji remembered those words as she continued to shake, backing away and looking at the newly formed and somewhat warm coating of blood on her fingertips. Likewise, on her shirt as well. She trembled, as though she needed to flee but her body was frozen in place. It only resulted in the feeling of nausea to invade her stomach.
