Ryujin was strong. Not just in the head, but physically. Going through hell was hard, grueling. The pain she suffered, and the force she had to exert was truly worse than anything in the world. The first month was the most unbearable, she found herself crying, something she vowed to only do under extreme circumstances, but even those tears evaporated from the extreme heat. The obstacles that detached her limbs and left her as just a skeleton multiple times over didn't help her advancement. But she wouldn't give up, not like many of those under her that decided to be tortured for eternity. She supposed it made sense, for them a forever of torture was better than what they'd go through to get out. She saw many give up on her pursuit.

But Ryujin was strong. She had a purpose in her head, and a curse to her soul that arguably gave her a better advantage than any other being. One ring for her took less time than anyone else. What would be seven years for others, would only be one for her. Many demons and even Lucifer found this, unfair. But, he didn't mind it much, Ryujin was his favorite pawn in the world. In fact, he wanted her to take Death's throne. For that, he watched her suffer through a bit before helping the raven.

"Ryujin?" Yeji's voice was clear, and as the raven reached a new section she felt herself healing. It was dark, all dark with rocks for walls that seemed to go forever. The ground was made of human skeletons...

"Yeji?" Ryujin was quick to stand even with the searing pain running through her. She looked helplessly around. Yeji shouldn't be anywhere near her in hell.

"You left me." Her figure was seen in the distance, she was crying. Ryujin ran toward her, trying to get closer but the walls only seemed to grow longer. "You promised you never would."

"Yeji, I'm coming for you, I swear to you."

"After everything you put me through you think I want you back?" Yeji looked up, walking further away as Ryujin got closer. The raven was breaking inside. "You killed me."

"No, no Yeji you're alive, I saw you alive in that car." Ryujin was panicking and after hours of taunting she reached the brunette who fell limp and pale in her arms. Dead.

Lucifer decided that would be a good time to interrupt her torture.

"Hello dear." He said, warping her to a different part of hell, his own sanctuary. Which, cost her a lot physically, pain returning the same as before. Ryujin gasped, writhing as the skin peeling off her bone started to heal. She choked, blood from her own having caught in her throat. "I agree with you, but you have been taking far too long to go through all the rings." He brought his hand down to her own, his red with the color of his skin, hers red with her blood.

"I should've never died for her." Ryujin spat out, choking again and sweating red it seemed. "I should've.." She took a moment, swallowing. "Should've killed Lia, should've killed the policemen in my way." She glared. "What kind of twisted ring did you pull me from?"

"But you didn't." He stood up, smiling and avoiding the remark. "Love is what makes us beings weak, and it's quite pitiful isn't it?"

"It felt..." Ryujin closed her eyes, still twitching on the ground. It took her moments again. "Felt like heaven with her." She shook still, praying to Joanne that Yeji was okay.

"You haven't seen the sun in a while." Lucifer chuckled. "Your curse is strong, you can take the throne once you have that dagger."

"You're going to revive me?" Ryujin looked up, eyes almost white from how weak her head was, how much she had to look north.

"I will. Do not waste time, I would love my own on such a throne." He smiled, deviously, and for a moment Ryujin saw herself in that smile.

"What if I find her." Ryujin said, making him click his tongue.
