"The mountains sunk into the pits
The earth crumbled to bits

The moon on fire, sun gone cold
The ground beneath me starts to fold

Fire and ice, with fear, conflate
I watched the ocean evaporate

And yet amidst the most calamitous
Through broken mirrors was the analysis

For even as the world would transcend
We judged ourselves until the end."

A/N: I was dreading this prompt from day one, because I would never use the word 'analysis' in a poem, and even now, I would have gladly used a different word if I had the choice, but nonetheless, I am impressed I wrote something 🤣.
