Marinette POV
2 months passed by after Hawkmoth's defeat and the fall of The Alliance. Gabriel Agreste and his allies were arrested and sentenced to prison for the foreseeable future, including the akuma class. However, Gabriel died from grief after his failure to save his wife, and possibly the injuries that Ladybug and I left on him, resulting in him being buried next to his wife.
I explained to my friends and my mother about my past and they agreed to keep it a secret. Mayura, AKA Nathalie, and Lila are still at large and it seems that Sasori may return to have her revenge alongside Adrien, who was fuming from hearing his father's death. The Avengers named us the Miraculous Avengers, which everyone agreed.
Obviously, Chloe would no doubt be posting about it.
At night, I went out on patrol, since my parents already know that I'm Ladybug, and saw Spider-X, wearing his outfit from the spider miraculous. As soon as he saw me, he waved. I landed next to him and rested on his shoulder.
"Is your stomach wound healed?" I asked.
"Yeah. Still hurts, though. Hey, do you still have the armour that Iron Man gave you?" He replied.
"Kept it. Just in case." I replied.
My smile faded as I thought of the akuma class and Adrien. Shayne noticed it and rested a hand on my shoulder.
"Hey, don't worry. I'm sure S.H.I.E.L.D will find them and bring them in. They can't run forever." He said.
"I know. But, if they do return. They'll bring a whole army to take us down." I replied.
"Let them try. After all, we got friends and allies to call on in case we need back up. After all, we did beat Hawkmoth." Shayne said.
I chuckled and kissed his cheek.
"Yeah. You're right. I'm glad you're here, Webs." I said.
"Meet too, Sugar Bug." He replied.
Adrien POV
I looked at the picture of my parents and growled. Thanks to them, my dream has been shattered. Now, we're on the run from the police and from S.H.I.E.L.D. I clenched my jaw and sat on the bed in our musty apartment.
"Once I get my hands on that spider, I'll make him regret the day he was born!" I growled
"We'll get our chance. For now, let's just plan on how we're getting our allies out of prison." Nathalie said.
I nodded and looked over at a sleeping Lila, stroking her cheek.
Soon, Ladybug and Spider-X will get what's coming to them. Then, I will make my father's dream a reality.
