Tyler was speechless upon Natalie's explanation. But Natalie on the other hand didn't let him speak , she immediately continued, her worry taking over. "You said your "promotion" was weird right? Why was it weird? She hadn't asked him back then but now she needed to know also "wait..you said "you too" ? What do you mean by that?"*
[Refer Monday (1) where Tyler says "why did you too say me to not go for work today?]
Tyler got out of his daze and slowly started replying "well..for your first question. Usually when getting promoted or relocated to other place, you are directly given the message and atleast a recommendation letter right? Also it is announced some days before. But this..well, i just got a letter in my house that day. And it wasn't a recommendation letter. I was confused because it had my company's seal but who speaks through letters nowadays? Also it just..felt weird y'know?"
He paused a little then said"well..at first I thought I'm just paranoid but....now with what you said.." he shook his head and continued "well basically that letter had asked me to come and work here, with address and all. I didn't think too much into it since it had the Boss's signature..Why would he suddenly want me..dead . He could just fire me or something. But i mean...haunted? Abandoned? That's just.."
Natalie intervened "wait i dont think it's exactly haunted but it certainly is abandoned..for years actually. It's a crumbling structure." Tyler nodded , he looked a bit shaken .
He then said "as for your second question.. today morning, i got a letter..here. It was similar to the one before so i thought maybe it's from this branches manager and on seeing the letter..it said me to not go to work today.. i thought maybe some construction issues or something..and on that i wasn't exactly feeling well for some days so.."
Natalie frowned "wait..isn't it weird? I mean everything is pretty..no very weird but..if whoever is sending you this letters wanted you to die, why wait another day?" Tyler replied "idk.. preparation?" They both laughed wryly.
They both sat in silence for a awhile, taking in the depth of this situation. "You know.." Natalie started, "...i think you should really give a call to your previous Boss. Sort this stuff out.." Tyler shook his head."i would have done that long ago except.." he sighs tiredly "I heard recently after shifting me here. The company itself relocated somewhere else.. "
Natalie : Dammit..
Tyler : yea...that means the old manager my boss's number also has..most probably changed. Is employees only had his office number anyway.."
Natalie : *gasp!* Wait! Why don't you call one the employees?? They would-
But her hopes were dashed once Tyler shook his head and said
Tyler : We had a group y'know. I never talked with them individually but in whatsapp we had a group. After i was relocated here.. I'm blocked from it."
Tyler : whoever this...sick bastard is..cut me off from everything..
Natalie : but whoever it is, didn't know about me..! I'll help you all i can.
He seemed to relax a bit on hearing that. A small smile on the corner of his lips. "Yea..thank you Nat."

By the time Natalie had come back home from the Hart's, it was evening already. Natalie had come back some 20 mins ago and was resting on her couch. Watching some shit opera. It was <7:25pm> She was bored as heck when suddenly her phone pings. She lazily extends one hands and retrieves her phone from the table. ___________

Emily : heyy guy's I'm ready already!
Emily : I've even made a list of things we're doing!
Derek : Always the most excited one Em.
Emily : well duh!

Derek: first we're gonna eat...then go to the mall then eat AGAIN?? And i cant with you ladies in the mall..oof I remember the last time you guys went there.
Emily : oh come on! We won't take long! Right nat?
Derek : oh yea, speaking of, where is she? Nat?
Natalie: sorry guys! I had some serious things to take care of today.. so i almost forgot.
Emily : (emoji) :(
Natalie: don't worry em. There's still time, I'm gonna go get ready rn. You deserve it!
Emily : Aww thanks nat!
Derek : wait, what are those serious things?
Natalie : oh and we are going to that mall.

Derek : dammit...
Derek : wait but answer me!
Emily : i think she went already to get ready. Also dont get upset, we're also going to my home after that, you'll get your sweet time watching cricket..and we're playing.. monopoly..→_→
Derek : heh..yea.wait! Monopoly is great!(ಠ_ಠ)━☆
Emily: suure Cuz you defeat us always..ಠಿ_ಠ

Natalie's POV :
"Shit shit!!" I pace around my room, ravaging my closet for good clothes. I had almost forgot our outing, that little party we had decided for Emily. I felt bad as a friend. After i texted in a hurry. I immediately searched my closet in and out and finally got a good outfit for outing.

After i admire myself in the mirror, i tie my hair in a ponytail , get my stuff in a bag and get going. The other two are probably already on the way. I look at the time it was <7:45pm>
We are supposed to meet at 8:00 in the address em had sent. "There's still time." I say to myself. I say goodbye to mom and go get a taxi.
