Wasting time

20 minutes later

KNOCK, KNOCK.

"Little one I could have sworn I told you to be in the living room in 5 minutes. Locking yourself in the bathroom, curling up behind the door? I'd say is the complete opposite of what is required of you."

Cassie powerfully scoffs from behind the door. "What is required of me? Nothing is required of me, last time I checked you're the one who BROKE into my home and had the audacity to boss me around. So in turn I'm not required to do anything. MY HOUSE MY RULES." 

Hyun Ki bites down on his molars  & squints his eyes at the sassy remark. "Listen. I know you're upset Kid but I'm afraid I'm not going anywhere, I am apart of your life now and the sooner you accept that the better."

Cassie rolls her eyes. "Yeah right & as for that 'part of your life stuff' dream on stranger."

Knowing this ordeal could take a while, Hyun Ki takes a seat on the landing. "I can see you are refusing to listen to reason so I'm just gonna make myself cosy here until you're ready to open the door, just a disclaimer I can sit here for as long as it takes. I am very patient sweetheart."

"Seriously? do you even know the meaning of 'get the ever living fuck out of my house.' Clearly you don't. UGH." Cassie smacks the back of her head on the wooden door in defeat.

Some time escalates before the two start conversing again. 50 minutes later...

Lifting his head out from his knees, Hyun Ki softly states. "How many times do I have to tell you I am not going to hurt you. I promise."

Sat hopelessly on the other side of the door, cassie dryly responds. "I don't care. Say it a few more times & guess what...I still won't care."

Hyun Ki sighs deeply. "Okay I see you're not ready to confront me yet, so let's just go back to silence."

 48mins later...

"Have you had enough thinking time in there?"

Cassie replies. "Nope."

Hyun Ki slaps his forehead. "What honestly is there more to think about? We've been sat here for a long time. Surely you can get your head around just unlocking the door for me. I just wanna talk...that is it."

No answer.

"Honey It's rude to ignore someone who is trying to communicate with you."

Still no answer. 

"You know where I am from you'd have a lot to answer to for ignoring your elders like that."

Cassie coldly states. "Glad I'm English then."

having just about enough of her smarmy remarks, Hyun Ki stands up and takes a harsher approach. "Now look, I know you're a little shaken up and very confused but if you just open the door we can discuss all of this."

Cassie chooses to ignore her intruders request. "Bite me weirdo."

Hyun Ki bites back. "That's it, I am not taking anymore of your unnecessary shading, you have three seconds to open up that door or I'm going to bust it down. And believe me child I can knock that door down like it's a piece of cardboard."

Internally quivering at the mans threatening statement, Cassie stands up. "You wouldn't dare."

The very attractive man seethes. "Oh don't test me Little cutie pie, daddy can breakdown this door with one finger and come over to you and throw you over my shoulder like you weigh no more than a feather."

Defending herself, Cassie retorts. "HA! You keep thinking that you wet stack of mop buckets!"

Knowing she's in for it now, she waits for the door to come down. 10 seconds passes, 20 seconds passes, 30 seconds passes? Cassie is stunned to be met with nothing but silence...She remains stationary, waiting for the consequences to arise. Nothing?

Strongly thinking that the stranger is playing mind games with her, pretending to not be there so as soon as her guard is down & the door is open he can have his wicked way with her. Cassie makes sure she is always one step ahead of the game. She confidently taunts. "I know you're still there numb nuts, being quiet isn't gonna get you anywhere. I'm not a gullible kiddie, I know you're just trying to play guess who with me. Which you're losing by the way."

faced with more uncomfortable longevity of silence, she's starts to wish that he had forced his way into the room before. At least then she wouldn't have to deal with this spine tingling uncertainty.

 Giving it a few more minutes, Cassie breaks the ice. "wow you're really good at the quiet game haha but you can reveal your presence now. You win, well done."

Nothing.

unsure as to whether or not he's still there, she gives into ever moral fibre telling her 'don't open the door it's a trap.' Admitting she doesn't have much of a choice & having a deep desire to free herself from the mundane bathroom, she gingerly cracks open the wooden door.

 Scanning the landing swiftly she notices no one is there. She ponders to herself. " huh, he's gone, where did he go?" A sarcastic thought arises. "No wait he's probably downstairs planning how he's going to infiltrate more victims houses (sigh)." Upon further analysis, she hasn't heard any recent distinct noises that would signal human life in her house. She ponders some more. "Maybe he's gone, like Gone Gone." A victorious smile spreads across Cassie's face. A bit to prematurely...

"I wouldn't celebrate to quickly there kitten." The steady male voice declares.

snapping out of her conflicted thought patterns, she whips her body around. "Oh shit."

Practically looming over her like a dark dangerous cloud, Hyun Ki calmly says. "Well look who's out of hibernation. Did you manage to store all your nuts for the winter baby girl? haha."

A unimpressed look forms on Cassie's face. "ha, ha. I'm laughing on the inside."

"What, I thought it  was pretty good." The strappingly handsome Korean man humours.

changing the subject fairly swiftly, Cassie inquires. "So man of the hour, where were you? & how did you get behind me without me knowing or detecting?"

Hyun Ki just stares ominously at the younger. 

Thinking she's clever, Cassie repeats a quote she remembers the invasive man saying . "You know where I am from you'd have a lot to answer to for ignoring your elders like that."

The look changes in the very tall, intimidating mans eyes. "I thank you not to take the piss out of my words little one and for the record you're not my elder, you're just a baby & I don't listen or take orders from babies."

"Your welcome." Cassie says with a side smirk plastered over her cheeky face, completely ignoring the last statement."

Hyun Ki goes in for the kill...

"oh that is it, you're mine now."

Oh snap, crackle & pop! The gloves are off now...
