after the fifteen minute break released the audience and the players, chatter about [y/n]'s violin performance filled the room.
"that's crazy! everyone is talking about how great [y/n] was. common [y/n] w." faruzan giggled, proud of her friend.
"everyone before her was a snooze, literally. but in her's, i couldn't even blink!" heizou explained, earning a not-so-nice look from his pigtailed friend. "you better hope i don't tell her how much you disrespected the other violinist." she stepped on his foot.
scaramouche looks away so the two couldn't see him grinning at their bickering. when doing so, he caught sight of the talk of the room and two young girls, probably around ten years old.
"'xcuse me, miss! this is for you..." the taller of the two children extended a bouquet of flowers to the teenager, the other commenting, "your playing was so beautiful!"
"aww, that's so sweet, thanks!" the [h/c]-haired girl smiled radiantly and took the flowers.
a man comes in from the other room, "by the way, the results with be posted thirty minutes after the final contestant." the violinist nodded in response, "whenever is fine. i don't really care about the competition part!"
scaramouche, still watching, raised a brow. knowing his mother left a memory of mentioning that coming in first is all that matters, he felt something towards the girl.
admiration, confusion, anger, sadness; he didn't know.
the girl turns to see her friend. waving, "hey faru!" she turns back to the kids energetically, "i gotta go now, but thank you so so so much!"
the violinist who enchanted a song comes running towards those who await her, prancing through the crowd, flowers in her arms.
'it's like...a scene right out of a movie.' scaramouche thought, walking towards her. he stops after heizou passing him.
"that was amazing! i've never seen anything like that." the redhead enlightened.
"heh, ya think so! thank youu!"
