You've escaped prologue hell, congratulations.

(Y/n) POV

(Y/n):
What is it, Roman? You know that the Beacon entrance exam is coming up and I'd like to prepare more.

Roman:
Like you need it. Just need my bases covered and have some information for you.

(Y/n):
Alright. Anything specific?

Roman:
Just if I get caught.

(Y/n):
Because that'll totally happen... You're in the clear for the next week, but the mystery lady probably threatens you.

Roman:
Of course she does. Why do you call her that anyway?

(Y/n):
You try absorbing a week worth of information while on fast forward.

Roman:
Just thinking about it is giving me a headache. You are truly above all us mortal men.

(Y/n):
Oh, ha ha. And the other thing?

Roman:
Oh yes. I believe I ran into one of your "siblings" the other day. Short, short black hair with red highlights and a red cloak and that same brooch.

(Y/n):
That's definitely her. Her being in Vale isn't out of the ordinary. Just means I should be more careful when working.

Roman:
You've really grown from that kid Neo picked up from the street. If being a huntress doesn't work, I can always put you to work.

(Y/n):
No way, but call if you ever really need help. I do owe you both a lot.

Roman:
You break my heart. I'll make sure to hold you to that. See ya, kid.

(Y/n):
Yeah, yeah. Tell Neo I said hi.

* * *

Sissel:
Remember, no using your semblance to figure out the test or results.

(Y/n):
Because I didn't hear you the first hundred times.

Sissel:
Well, I want you to experience the test properly. You can't live all of your life in the future and in complete certainty.

(Y/n):
Alright, Dad. Again, I promise not to use it to cheat.

Sissel:
Good. Now get going.

He pulls me close and kisses me on the forehead.

(Y/n):
I'll call you when I pass. If I don't, I probably ran off with Neo and him.

Sissel:
You better call regardless. Or I'm tracking you three down.

I head to the Bullhead and yell back

(Y/n):
I'll think about it!

I take a seat, and after a few minutes, the Bullhead takes off. The sight from above is quite beautiful. I then look at my competition and/or allies. I don't see anyone notable until I hear...

???¹:
I can't believe my baby sister is coming to Beacon with me!

???²:
Y-Yang! Air!

I honestly could imagine worse luck. I expected Yang, but Ruby somehow got in, too. I try to shrink myself and put on my hood. Thanks to Sissel's help, my cloak was returned to its former glory, and I did grow into it.

Thankfully, they'll be on the opposite side of the ship. And the Jaune guy isn't close enough for his vomit to bother me other than its smell.

* * *

There's no easy way to get off this Bullhead without alerting those two... Did Yang really just abandon Ruby? I guess she hasn't changed much and is just as ruthless. At least it makes my life easier. I walk out as Ruby is being harassed by the Schnee. She let's me distract her for a moment, which angers Schnee more.

Yang may be unaccounted for, but I doubt that I'd stand out to he--

I feel a hand on my shoulder

???:
Sorry, you didn't seem to hear me. You are headed the wrong way.

The girl had her red hair in a ponytail and is wearing armor more fitting for an Amazonian than anything else. Safe to say, she's not Yang

(Y/n):
Thanks, I was focused on something else. I'm (Y/n) Aquila-Rose, nice to meet you.

Pyrrha:
I'm Pyrrha Nikos. It is nice to meet you too. Should we get going?

(Y/n):
I believe we should.

Ruby POV

Ruby:
I'm telling you, Yang, it looked a lot like mine and mom's.

Yang:
I'm sure it only looked similar. Or maybe they both bought it from the same place.

Ruby:
Maybe you're right, but I'd still like to ask.

Yang:
Hey, look at you! First day, and you actually want to talk to a stranger.

Ruby:
Yaaang, it's not like that.

Yang:
Oh, were they a cute guy that you have a crush on?

Ruby:
Please stop...

Yang:
Or girl. You're still discovering yourself.

Ruby:
You're so embarrassing...

* * *

After Professor Ozpin's speech, I spot the person in the cloak again, but they disappear after I just blinked, and I couldn't find them in the ballroom.

Ruby:
I bet I can guess their semblance. It must be invisibility, because I can't find them anywhere!

I lay down and sink into my pillow

Yang:
Relax Ruby. If they came here for the entrance exam, they'll have show up again eventually.

Ruby:
I guess.

(Y/n) POV

(Y/n):
She's way too persistent over just a cloak.

I doubt that I can avoid them forever, but I can damn well try. I just wish she'd stop sooner.

???:
Oh, someone else is out here, too?

I look back and see a pretty tall guy with long black hair with a pink streak.

(Y/n):
Yeah, I'm hiding. You?

???:
Just taking a breather. My friend is a bit much, but she can't be left alone either.

(Y/n):
Sounds like my dad. I feel bad for you.

???:
Don't be. We've known each other for a long time.

(Y/n):
Still do... You have five minutes before she does something you should probably stop.

Ren:
You sound certain.

(Y/n):
I am certain. I'm also (Y/n) Aquila-Rose.

Ren:
Lie Ren. I'll take your word for it. Would you like me to keep an eye out for who you're avoiding?

(Y/n):
No need. They won't look out here. But thanks for the offer.
