After that Felix did not approache me again. Some part of me felt happy but the other felt like dying, desperate for him. In the end I had to accept it. I was the one who chose this after all. Maybe I was hoping he would try to reach out, apologizing for how he treated me? I don't know. I just know that three months passed already. Three months without having Felix text me every morning, getting to hear his laugh, when I try to be funny and three months without seeing my sunshine shine. Instead I got to know Chan better. He allowed me to see his soft side, how he cares about everyone and what a great leader and friends he is. Getting to see so many sides of him has made me feel so special, but not just that. He's making me feel safe. Safer than ever. I really enjoy his company. Maybe he can be the one to help me move on.
Just like every Saturday ever since Chan and I decide to meet at a cute Café in the city. Seeing how much effort Chan puts into our meeting always makes my heart flutter. Everytime he makes sure to find a new place to spend time, making it special every single time. Today we decided to meet in front of the café, instead of him picking me up at my place. Honestly, I don't mind going there by myself, I just hate waiting and of course he's late today. At first I thought about about calling him, but he won't answer anyways when he's driving, which is a good thing. I mean, he's keeping himself safe after all and that's all that matters.

After about 15 minutes Chan finally arrives, having a worried expression on his face.
"Are you okay?", I ask him, making sure he's fine physically at least.
"Yeah. I'm sorry for being late", he immediately apologizes to me, "Have you been waiting for long?"
"Oh, it's fine. As long as you're safe."
"You wanna go in?"
I nod, taking his arm to drag him inside like I would take my formers best friends arm. The second we enter the café the change in temperature is more than obvious. Like the gentleman Chan is, he helps to sit down at one of the empty tables, before sitting down Infront of me. Just like usual we order something to drink. He a coffee and I my favorite tea. When our orders came we chatted while taking a few sips. After a good hour of just enjoying each other's company, we play and leave the restaurant. Honestly, the paycheck is probably the part I always fear the most. Chan is always so persistent about paying which I kinda hate, but it's Chan so in the end ai just give up and let him pay. Though I repay him with a small present.

"How did you like that café?", The tall boy asks, giving me a smile as we walk through the city.
"Oh, it was really nice. The staff was so friendly and I liked the atmosphere a lot", I smile back, noticing the cold wind brushing against my skin, "How is it so cold?"
Hearing me complain about the cold in November makes Chan chuckles quietly.
"Hey, don't laugh at me!"
"Haha, sorry sorry. You're just so cute sometimes. I just can't help myself", he keeps on giggling, while I just stand still in confusion. When he notices, he immediately stops, apologizing to me.
"Did I make you uncomfortable?", Seeing his worried eyes makes my heart flutter. It's a familiar feeling I only had when I was spending time with Felix.
"No. You didn't. You calling me cute is just.. odd I guess."
"Do you want me to stop?"
"I want to know why you called me that", I know usually someone calling me that would not be a big deal, by when it's Chan, it's a different story.
Weirdly embarrassed he rubs his neck: "You won't drop this, will you?"
"No. Not at all. Soooo tell me."
With a smile I look at him, waiting patiently for a response, as the guy takes a a deep breath, preparing for what's to come.
"Y/n. We've spend so much time together over the last couple of months and... I've fallen in love with you."
Before I am able to respond to his confession, Felix walks between us, forcing more space between us.
"I knew it", he yells, confusing both Chan and I.
"What?", Chan asks, raising his eyebrows.
"I knew you would do this. Using y/n and my fight to get with her", the anger in the blonds voice confuses me.
"Why... Why would that even bother you??", I manage to also speak up. As I do Felix turns to me, with hurt in his eyes he stares at me, before speaking.
"I told him that I liked you! He know what I feel for you and then does that!"
His voice is almost breaking as he turns to Chan again.
"I thought we were friends!"
"We are."
"No. We're not. Friends don't do that. I.. I'm leaving", turning around to me again, giving me one last look he walks away, hoping I wouldn't notice the tears that started to build up, but I did.
Felix walks away and Chan stand beside me. What am I supposed to do now?
