"What are you doing here?"

"I need to speak to you."

"Mike, how long has it been since you last actually needed to speak to me?," I laughed.

"Long, very long. But I've thinking of you these last couple of days, and I just wanted to know how you were doing."

"I'm doing fine, thanks. Bye," I said, as I tried to turn around to open my front door, but he stopped me from doing so.

"Lexie," he said, stepping closer to me. "I'm sorry. I truly am sorry for everything you went through because of me. I'm trying to make things right with everyone I hurt in the past."

"What's done is done Mike, you can't change the past. But I accept your apologies, now leave, please."

"Can I ask you something?"

"Tell me."

"Are you still friends with that guy who interrupted us that night outside the club?"

"How come you remember about that? It's been years, Mike."

"Only when he came in scene I realised that I had lost you forever."

"Why?"

"I don't know, maybe it was the way he stepped between you and me without even knowing you. So, are you still friends with him?"

"Erm... I don't see him as often as I used to..." I managed to say.

"So, there's nothing to stop us now, right?"

"Stop us from what?" I said, frowning.

"I told you someday we'd get back together."

"Well, someday hasn't arrived yet Mike, I'm sorry."

"C'mon," he said, stepping closer.

"Mike, if you don't want me to call the cops you better be going," I told him, as he stepped back, laughing.

"Whatever, Lexie Scott. I'll see you around."

I came into my house and laid on the couch. I was supposed to clean my room and have a shower, but I couldn't be bothered. I guess Mike still has that power of giving me anxiety everytime I see him, after all these years.

|THE NEXT DAY|

Harry's POV

"I don't know Louis, she hasn't replied to my text," I said to my friend, as we entered the restaurant where we were having lunch with the rest of the lads.

"I'm sure she's just thinking of what to write, don't worry mate," he said, trying to comfort me. We reached our friends' table and sat with them. The waitress came to take our orders and then we started to speak about everything and anything.

"Harry?," I heard someone calling me. I turned around and saw a tall dark haired boy smiling at me. His face rang me a bell, but I couldn't figure it out. I must've frowned a lot, because he started laughing. "You don't know who I am, do you?"

"I'm sorry, I..."

"It's okay mate, I've changed a bit since you last saw me," he said, rubbing his fingers through his hair. "It's Hayden." God. Hayden. I got up from the chair and pulled him into a hug.

"Oh God you're so grown up! How old are you now?"

"15, nearly 16 actually," he laughed.

"God, time flies... you were like 11 when I last saw you!"

"Yes, I was a kid, and Lexie says I'm a man now," he chuckled. "Anyway, it's been nice to see you, but I gotta head back to my girlfriend, she's waiting for me at the entrance."
