"Cam, don't worry, we'll find a place. We still have more than 2 weeks til the show."
"Lexie, I can't calm down. It's our first real show, and your grandma is so going to kill us."
"Hey, she's not, because it wasn't our fault that the venue said no in the last minute."
"How can they decide to close that venue the day after we signed the contract?"
"Things happen Cameron, that's life," I said, shrugging my shoulders.
"Anyway, how's it going with Harry? I mean, after your conversation last night," he asked.
"It turns out he was just jealous of Andy."
"Oh, really? So, who was right in the end? I told you he..."
"Please Cam, skip your 'I-told-you-I-was-right' speech, I'm not in the mood."
"Alright. Sorry. By the way, what are you wearing tonight?," he asked. Tonight?
"What for?"
"The reunion with the Westminster Crew."
Oh shit. I completely forgot about that. The Westminster Crew, as you can imagine, are all our mates back at uni. Cameron and I made really good friends there, and tonight will be the first time all of us will be together since our graduation day, since some of them couldn't make it to the Christmas dinner we organised. I honestly can't wait to see them, most of all Andrea and Callum, they were really nice. I've always thought Callum would be the perfect man for Cameron, but they say it wouldn't work out and just laugh at me for saying so. Andrea was the most responsible one in the crew, 'hard work will get you anywhere' was her motto. And it worked pretty fine for her, since she was doing a whole year internship in TopShop Business Department. Callum was a different thing. He didn't want to be a clothing designer, let alone work in a business department. He wanted to work at galleries. He chose some optatives related to art and stuff, and we're waiting for the day he finishes the decoration of the place he's rent to open a gallery.
I was immerse in my thoughts when my phone rang. Summer's own ringtone MMMBop by Hanson was paying. It was her who chose the song, don't blame it on me.
"Hey Sum."
"Hey babe, how are you?"
"I'm good, but hey, it's you who is spending 2 weeks in Dublin, how's it going?"
"It's pretty good, but lucky me I'll be back in a week," she laughed.
"Only a week left of that course you're doing?"
"Yep. Then I'll be back in London town. I can't wait to be home."
"I see. We can't wait for you to get back either. Maybe you can make it for the show, if we find a venue before it's held of course."
"Are you still trying to find something?"
"Yes, it's getting Cameron to his nerves lately," I laughed.
"I bet. Anyway, what have you been up to?"
"Not much. Well, I'm sort of speaking to Harry."
"Wait, wait, wait. How come? What does that mean?"
"Well, you remember the day we saw him and Niall at Starbucks, right?"
"Yes."
"And you remember we spoke after Mike came here, right?"
"Yes."
"Well, we've spoken a couple of time since then. We almost had a fight yesterday because of Andy but we're fine now."
