"If someone had told me last week I was going to get up early to get things done for Louis' wedding, I would've laughed on their face," I told Lexie, making her chuckle.
"Stop complaining, we're almost done here," she said, paying for the bouquet she'd ordered for the centrepieces of the tables.
"You'll have to buy me breakfast if you don't want to hear my complaints anymore."
"Deal," she smiled, walking out of the shop. "So, Mr Styles, where would you like to go?"
"We should go to Ben's Café. He'll be happy to see us again," I smiled, as she jumped into her car and started the engine.
I haven't felt this calm around her for a long time. Since we started bumping into each other earlier this year, everytime we've been together I've had this fear I'd make her run away, or that she'd leave sooner or later. Turns out that it happened already, but here we are, and it feels great. And I'm not the only one who's happy about it.
|FLASHBACK. FRIDAY MORNING|
"So you're going on a date tomorrow again?"
"Sort of."
"Who's going on a date?," Eleanor and Louis asked at the same time, as they came into their living room, where we were all waiting for them.
"Harry and Lexie."
"What?," she exclaimed. "When did that happen?"
"Yesterday, she picked me up from the studio."
"And why didn't I know anything about it?"
"Maybe because she's busy sorting out stuff for your wedding?," Niall joked.
"That sounded as if she was my slave, which she isn't. She's just helping me out. Getting married is stressing, Niall."
"I know, I was my brother's best man, remember?," he chuckled.
"So, where are you guys going?," Louis asked me.
"Well, she just wants me to go with her to do some wedding stuff, I don't know."
"Flirt with her," he stated, in all seriousness.
"Sorry?"
"Flirt with her, don't let her think you're just friends. Because you're not."
"Louis, both of us know what's going on here, okay? She knows me, and I know her. There's no need to flirt as if it was the first time."
"You're wrong mate," he answered, confusing me even more. "You need to remind her how cheeky you are, she liked that about you. So you need to flirt with her, make her want to come back with you. She's still in love with you, she just needs to remember."
"That was deep Louis," Eleanor laughed.
"I just spoke the truth. And listen to me, Harry," he said, pointing at me with his index finger. "If you ever let her go again, for any reason, I'll make sure you'll be kicked out of the band."
"Why?," I laughed.
"Because we can't have someone as dumb as that with us."
|END OF FLASHBACK|
I smiled at the thought of that conversation, and when I opened my eyes I found Lexie smiling at me.
"Why are you smiling?," she asked.
"Oh... erm... it's nothing, don't worry."
"Whatever. Anyway, we're here, so we better get out of the car and look for a table in there," she smiled before walking into the café.
