Chapter 8- Family chat.

"But I still don't understand why you didn't speak to her when you went to her house", Niall told me as we cleaned the kitchen after having breakfast and before heading to the studio.

"I told you, Atwood had texted her".

"But then you discovered it was only about her taking him to a job interview!"

"And? I didn't know that at the time".

"Well, you should've talked to her either you knew it or not".

"Why?"

"C'mon Harry, you were her boyfriend, Atwood was just her friend. If he's after her again as you believe, you have more chances than him with her!"

"Why?" I asked.

"Because she was in love with you, not with him. You were the one she gave her everything to, not him".

"But I screwed up, and he didn't", I said, as he sadly looked down and we welcomed the silence.

Cameron's POV

"But if you wanted him to speak to you, why didn't you speak yourself?", I asked Lexie, while we drove to her hometown to see the Boss of bosses.

"He caught me off guard Cam. I didn't expect to see him there, standing at my front door!"

"Lex, maybe you should call him", I said, as I felt her turning to my side with a serious look.

"Why should I? He was the one who messed it all back at the time!"

"Lex, he tried calling you nonstop when you broke up, he tried to speak to you".

"I needed time to think. That's why I didn't answer his calls. But he gave up Cameron, he never called again".

"Lex, he sends you gifts and texts for your birthday and stuff, and you don't even bother to reply to him".

"Because I need to move on. And everytime I think I have, he texts me again, and I realise I'm not over him", she said, looking out the window car, leaving us in silence for the rest of the ride.

I know she still loves him. I know she's still in love with him. I know she'll never love anyone the way she loved him. I also know nobody will love her as much as Harry did. And I think she's aware of that. In these four years I've tried to set her up with someone at least three times. But they always had something she didn't like. Aaron was blond, and he reminded her of Mike, so he was out as soon as she saw him. Luke didn't like any music but R&B (is that even a flaw? Girls). And Rob was only interested in football, which is totally true. I couldn't bear staying next to him more than 10 minutes.So I gave up. I thought she'd find someone else herself, but she hasn't yet. 

Deep inside I've been waiting for this moment to come. The moment when fate would reunite them, as it happened when they first met. But if she doesn't want to speak to him, how are they going to end up together? I'm sure Harry still wants to be with her. Why would he have all of their pictures together at his place if he didn't?

"Cameron, you drove my past my grandma's", she laughed.

"I'm sorry", I chuckled, as I dove the other way around, looking for a free parking place.

"What were you thinking?", she asked, as we jumped out if the car and headed to her nan's office.

"Nothing", I said, wrapping my arm around her shoulder.

Harry's POV
