"Rejected," I told Cameron, hanging up the phone and burying my face on the table.

"Fuck. I really believed in karma before every place we want to book for the show started to turn us down," he answered. "Well, we still have time."

"Cameron, the show is in 8 days. We don't have time."

"We have. Something will happen and we'll find the perfect place for it, you'll see."

I don't know what I'd do without Cameron. First of all, I wwould've died of sadness when Harry and I called it quits if I hadn't had him joking around, trying to make me feel better. Secondly, I would've shot myself by now, seeing we don't have any place to hold our show. His optimism keeps me going. But not having the show organised yet is not the only thing that's keeping me nervous today.

Harry is. I'm meeting him today at Ben's café, one of our favourite places to go when we were together. Yes, we liked Starbucks, we liked Mozzino Café, and Milk Bar. But Ben's Café is different. It's in the outskirts of London, one of the few places we could go without being spotted or followed by fans and paps. We really got to spend some time together, alone, in a place that wasn't his flat or my house, and that was good and nice.

"It's not going to be any clearer just because you keep rubbing it," Cameron told me, making me look at him.

"Sorry?"

"Harry's necklace. You can't stop rubbing it," he said, and I realised that I had been doing that for quite a while. "You're nervous, aren't you?"

"A bit."

"Don't worry Lex, it'll be fine. It's Harry and you, it's always fine."

Harry's POV

I arrived to Ben's café ten minutes ago and took a seat at a table. It's already 3.33 pm and she isn't here yet. I really hope she hasn't chickened out, and that she's coming. I look around the place and realise it still looks the same as the last time I was here. I smile at all the memories of Lexie and I coming here, looking for some peace.

"Sorry I'm late, hope I didn't make you wait for long," I heard a female voice saying, making me turn to find Lexie smiling shyly at me.

"No, don't worry. I just arrived a couple of minutes ago," I said, as she sat on the chair in front of me.

"Good."

"Hey, I just saw you guys from behind the counter. It's been years since you last came here! Together I mean, you've been coming here on your own," Ben smiled. You see, he's the owner of the place, and one of the three people who work there. We used to come at least once a week whenever I was in London, and most of the time we would order the same thing. No wonder why he ended up knowing us and talking to us as if we were friends. "What can I get you?"

"I'd like to have a cup of green tea, please," I said.

"A white coffee for me, please Ben," she added. Ben smiled, and went to the counter to get our drinks ready.

"How are you?," I said, trying to break the awkward silence between us.

"I'm good, a bit busy but good," she smiled. "What about you?"

"I'm fine, busy too."

"Thank you for Hayden's birthday gift, you didn't have to."

"I didn't, but I wanted to. If someone invites you to their birthday party you need to buy them something, don't you?," I chuckled.

"Did he invite you?"

"He texted me. He always does."

"Oh... I didn't know that," she said, looking down at the table and murmuring 'thank you' to Ben when he brought us our drinks. As soon as he left us, she added, "I also know you send birthday gifts to Sophie."
