Once I finish getting dressed I head downstairs "hey, princess you ready to go?" Ian asked giving me a kiss on the forehead "yep." I muttered still a little sleepy "alright your dad is in the car waiting for us." Ian replied "wait in my car?" I asked him "yeah." He said chuckling at my facial expression "son of a bitch." I mumbled running out the front door.

Finally arriving at the therapist office we head inside taking a seat in the waiting room as I look down at the ground while fidgeting with my fingers nervously "Emi Gallagher-Milkovich!" The receptionist yelled making me look up at her "hey, you want us to go with you?" Mickey asked me "uh, no I'll go by myself." I replied "okay, we'll be out here waiting for you." Ian said ruffling my hair before I begin making my way towards the back room.

"Alright Emi, what brings you in today?" My therapist asked "um I-I've just been needing to get a few things off my chest that's all." I said while fidgeting with my sweatshirt sleeve "well, tell me what's on your mind." She replied "I-I...um." I stuttered still looking down at the ground "hey, this is a safe space you can tell me what's on your mind I won't judge you I'm here to help you." She said looking at me with a smile on her face.

"Uh, I-I've been stressed these past few days and I-I...I just can't seem to focus anymore." I muttered looking up at her "you think this is the result of the breakup between you and Josh?" She asked me "uh, I-I...I think so, it's just a lot for me to handle with the breakup and then my meds going out of balance and not being able to go to work because of it—it's just a lot to handle." I replied looking at her with tears brimming my eyes "well, I'm glad you came to see me and whenever you feel like that ever again I want you to come and talk to me." She said with a smile on her face as I nodded at her.

"I-I......I need it to stop." I mumbled "you need what to stop, Emi?" She asked me "I need everything to stop. Just people, life, this fucking illness." I replied with tears streaming down my face "Emi, I want you to know that whatever your going through it is perfectly normal and it's okay to not be okay." She said getting up from behind her desk and sitting next to me as she hands me a tissue "I know, it just takes a toll on me sometimes and I blame myself for it." I replied "and that is perfectly normal it's just the disease that makes you feel that way, but I'm really glad you came to see me today." She said.

"Thank you for hearing me rant." I replied giggling a little as she chuckled at me "that's what I'm here for. Whenever you need to talk you come and see me." She said "I will, thanks Mrs. Kelly." I said getting up and heading out of her office making my way back towards the waiting room.

"Hey, monkey ready to go?" Mickey asked me "yeah, yeah I'm ready." I said "you feel better princess?" Ian asked me "hell yeah I do." I replied as we made our way outside the building getting in the car before heading back home.
