Chapter 43-Late Night Talks

A couple hours later I slowly but, surely make my way upstairs as I pull my phone out as I look down at my leg dialing Asher's number as I pick up the phone holding it to my ear when all of a sudden someone picks up on the other end.

"Hello." Asher said "uh, hi, Asher." I stuttered nervously feeling a blush rise up on my cheeks "hi, Emi." He said I could practically hear the smile on his face as I giggled lowly as I look up at the sound of a knock on the door "uh, come in." I said nervously while pulling the phone away from my ear slightly as I look up to see my dad standing in the doorway with a smile on his face "hey, sweetheart me and your dad are gonna head to bed." Ian said "okay." I nodded with a smile on my face "who you on the phone with?" He asked me "uh, a friend of mine." I said "a friend, huh?" He questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"It's a guy that I met a while back." I replied with a smile on my face feeling a blush rise up on my cheeks "are you sure that's a good idea Em?" He asked me "yeah, I mean we're just talking it's not like we're having sex dad." I said as he chuckled at me "just be careful, okay." He replied "I will." I said while nodding at him "night sweetie." He said while walking out "night dad." I replied.

"Uh, sorry about that." I said as I giggled "no it's okay. I don't mind." He said "um, w-would you like to come over tomorrow night?" I asked him nervously "y-yeah, yeah. I don't mind. How does seven o'clock sound?" He asked me "seven is perfect. I'll order us some pizza and we can just hang out and watch movies." I replied with a blush on my cheeks "okay, I'll be there." He said "okay, I'll see you tomorrow then." I said "goodnight Emi." He said "night Asher." I replied with a smile on my face as I hung up the phone.

Laying back on my mattress with a huge smile on my face as I giggled.
