Chapter 44-"Hanging Out"

The next morning arrives as I wake up to someone rubbing my cheek gently "time to wake up princess." Ian said as he kissed my forehead gently as I turned to look at him before sitting up in bed "morning daddy." I said as I slowly got up out of bed to start getting dressed.

Once I finish getting dressed I made my way downstairs "morning monkey." Mickey said as he kissed the top of my head "morning dad." I said with a smile on my face "want anything for breakfast?" Ian asked me "uh, no thanks I'm actually going to order some pizza later on tonight." I said "oh, what's the occasion?" Mickey asked me "no occasion....just hanging out here with a friend." I replied.

"Is this so called friend the one you were talking to last night, hmm?" Ian asked me "maybe." I mumbled "what's his name?" Mickey asked me with a smirk on his face "why are you automatically assuming it's a guy?" I asked him with a slightly defensive tone "because no one has a smile that big on there face if they're hanging out with some girlfriends." Ian said as he chuckled at me "his name is Asher." I said feeling a blush rise up on my cheeks.

"Oh, Asher, huh?" Ian joked as he raised his eyebrows at me "shut up." I said lightly shoving him in the chest as he chuckled at me "what time is this friend coming over?" Mickey asked me "7:00. Why?" I questioned "no funny business, alright. I'm serious Em." Mickey replied "okay, okay." I said as I headed towards the living room pulling out my phone and ordering the pizza.

Later on in the evening I sit on the couch watching some television looking up at the sound of someone knocking on the door "come in!" I shouted as the door opened revealing Asher "hey, Em." He said as he walked in with a case of beer "hey, Ash just set it down here." I said as he placed the case down on the floor beside the couch "so, what's on the movie list for today?" He asked me "uh, Amittyville horror or Transformers." I said as we both looked at each other "Amittyville horror." We said in unison as I giggled at him.

A couple hours into the movie I glanced over at Asher taking in all of his features looking away quickly as soon as he turns to look at me feeling a slight blush rise up on my cheeks as I look over at him noticing he was staring at me as he scoots closer to me before slowly leaning in closer to me as I reciprocated the action placing my lips on his gently making him smile into the kiss as I giggled at him slowly pulling away from him as I look up at him with a smile on my face.

"Uh, I-I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that I know you said you weren't looking for anything serious." Asher stuttered as I giggled "Ash, Ash. It's okay. I think this could be uh, we could be." I said "yeah, I totally agree." He replied cupping my cheek gently before placing his lips back on mine as I gasp reciprocating the motion as well.
