Ella got a text from Christian. Her heart fluttered. It made sense that he would want his girlfriendup front while he performed but it still made her feel special when he sent her tickets for thefront row. She was finally going to watch a DPR performance up close.
This reminded her that she was now part of DPR's pr team. She had spent so long as aresearcher but this also meant she had to work with a lot of people. She would definitely begood at pr management but she was still nervous about it considering it was for DREAMPERFECT REGIME. It was Christian's company and she knew it meant everything to him.
She decided the best way to calm her nerves about her new job, new relationship, and new lifewould be to go watch her favorite musical artist perform. It certainly didn't hurt that he was alsoher boyfriend now.Even after the show was done, she could feel the adrenaline pumping through her blood. Shemade her way backstage and located Christian's room.
"Hey," she said, smiling. "You were incredible up there."
"Thanks," he replied, trying to sound casual. "Listen, Ella, there's something I need to talk to youabout."
She looked at him with concern in her eyes. "What is it?"
Christian took a deep breath. "I know we've only just started seeing each other, but I want you toknow that I am serious about us. But I also know that being with me comes with a lot ofbaggage. I don't want you to feel like you have to change who you are to be with me, and I don'twant to put you in the spotlight if you're not comfortable with it."
Ella listened intently, her heart pounding in her chest. She had always known that datingChristian would come with challenges, but she didn't care. She loved him for who he was, flawsand all.
"Christian," she said, taking his hand. "I know what I'm getting into. I want to be with you, nomatter what. I don't need to be in the spotlight, but I do want to be by your side."
