Ella made her way up and positioned herself the same way Christian was. After she caught herbreath from all the climbing, she finally took a moment to look down. It was breathtaking. Shecould see every insignificant thing in the arena from here. The glowing lights from the stagemade everything all the more beautiful.

"This is amazing." Ella gasped.

"It certainly is. I know I said it's a very short fall but I don't want you to fall anyways, okay? Yougotta stay very still and not move around." Christian explained.

"Yes, I won't"

"You definitely can't move."

"I won'ttttt" Ella dragged her words.

"You won't move for sure?" Christian asked once more, squinting his eyes.

"Oh my god, I won't." Ella giggled.

Christian grinned. His body moved closer to hers. His hand snaked around her waist and slowlymoved upward. Ella blushed.

He stopped and looked into her eyes. "You won't move?" His tone made it evident that he wasasking for permission to go further.

"I won't." Her tone told him to go on.

Christian leaned forward and kissed her passionately. His hand slid under her top. Knowing thatif she moved and accidentally tripped would mean this would stop made sure she stayed tied inher position. Her body quivered as his hand went up higher.

A loud buzz from Christian's pocket made him cuss as he pulled back from Ella. He was angrythat someone dared to interrupt their moment but the second he saw the caller ID his facedropped. He picked it up but barely said anything throughout the entire conversation exceptoccasionally agreeing. When the call was done he looked at Ella.

"Who was that?" She looked concerned.

"My mother. She's coming to visit. I don't want this to come as a shock later so I think I shouldtell you now. She isn't going to like it when I tell her I'm dating you."

"What? Why?""It's a long story. I'll tell you once we're back on the ground."

Ella had almost forgotten where they were. They carefully made their way down as she bracedherself for what was coming.
