Tipsy (Kazuha x Reader)

"Finally! We're here!" I bounced excitedly, tugging at Kazuha's arm. We were just outside the city of Mondstat and boy was it a sight to see. The trek here wasn't too long but it felt so much longer with Kazuha fawning over Xingyan the whole way. The playful flirting got old fast but I could only put up with it since they were my travel companions for this trip.

Plus it wasn't like Kazuha was my boyfriend or anything so I couldn't really even say anything. I thought this trip would be my chance to talk to him and get his attention but the allure of Xingyan's vivacious personality and rock star life style stole the show.

"I'm coming!" Kazuha giggled in his soft voice jogging to keep up with me. The way he matched my excitement warmed my heart, making up for some of the hard feelings I had formed.

"What should we check out first?" Xingyan asked as we made our way through the front gate. I already knew where I wanted to go, it's been on my mind since we stepped foot off the Alcor.

"Angel's Share!" I bounce up and down nearly ready to bolt off without them. Xingyan just giggled at my ever growing excitement.

"I didn't know you liked to drink." Kazuha's gave an inquisitive look also amused at my increased energy.

"There is a lot you don't know about me." I punctuate this with a grin hoping maybe it would be received as flirty. "I actually hate the taste of alcohol. I really only drink it during social gatherings. However, I've heard so many amazing things about Angel's Share dandelion wine so I have to see if it's true."

I had committed the directions to Angel's Share to memory in preparation for this trip so my two companions followed behind me. They carried a conversation between each other and a small bubble of jealousy sat in my stomach as I heard them laughing at each other's jokes, wishing it were me. I shrug off the feeling, reminding myself that I would get his undivided attention at some point on this trip.

We entered the bar and were met with the aroma of fine aged wine and soft lighting. The place felt fairly cozy but not as cozy as The Cat's Tail which I visited on my last trip to Mondstat. I went to the counter and requested a bottle of their dandelion wine and some juice while Xingyan and Kazuha picked out a place for us to sit. The juice was a special request from from Kazuha since he didn't desire to partake in any alcohol.

"You have a great choice in wine, my lady." A voice said next to me as the bar keep left to go to the cellar. I look over to see a bard dressed in green and white. He looked different from the rest of the people here in Mondstat but I could still tell he was a local albeit a little old fashioned.

"T-thank you. Just thought I'd try something new."

"A woman who likes to delight her senses with exotic tastes isn't easy to find. How lucky am I to have met you." He takes my hand and leaves a gentle kiss, taking the kisses up my arm.

"You sure know how to make a girl blush" I say as my cheeks grow warmer by the second. For a moment I feel eyes on me. I look around to find who is causing this sensation and I lock eyes with none other than Kazuha. His face was always hard to read and now was no different so I just brush it off as him making sure I was okay talking to a stranger.

The bartender returned with the bottles I had ordered, I hand him my mora and grab both bottles.

"Would you like to join my friends and I... um..."

"Venti! And yes, I'd love to." We exchanged some more laughter before heading to our table.

"My name's (Y/N), by the way." I say as I take my seat.

"Such a lovely name." He replies taking a seat next to me.

"Who's your friend?" There is a strange coldness in Kazuha's voice that I had never heard before but I choose not to bring attention to it.
