"Smile, shaia!" This annoying creature again.

I just rolled my eyes and covered it with my pillow. I focused on the mesmerizing view outside the place's window. Nakakamangha ang ganda, sobra sobra ang ganda.

Sinimulan kong gumuhit. Taking pictures isn't enough, I was to savor the breathtaking beauty of this place.

We are on our way to Bicol, again. I was the one who suggested it.

I kept on drowning myself in working to keep myself distracted from missing my daughter and his father.

I miss them, so so much. My family, my almost.

Hindi matanggap ng puso ko, I can't, I can't acknowledge the fact that he's gone.

Wala akong nagawa.

Hindi ko pa rin matanggap. Aaminin ko, hindi ko kaya. It's hard, it's hard to let go of something that isn't yours in the first place. I am just his ex, yet I mourn like his wife.

I was finally ready to accept him as my daughter's father, but it was too late. Everything was useless, huli na.

Hanggang ngayon, nagsisisi pa rin ako. I regret everything I've done. This is what I've got for being selfish.

Maybe, it was not really meant to be.

"Shaia." I felt a light tap on my shoulder. Driving away my thoughts. "Calm down, you're spacing out again." He added.

I just sighed.

"I know you miss him a lot. Hindi kita pipigilan. I will let you miss him until you surrender." He gave me a reassuring smile. "Though, I want you to remember that I am here to listen to whatever you are thinking. Mas maganda kung nailalabas yan."

I chuckled and smiled. He's the best, one of the best friend I had. He helped me in every ways he can, hindi niya ako hinayaang mag isa kahit gustong gusto kong mapag isa, he didn't let me go with this battle alone.

He was like a brother to me.

"Eat your food na."

I started eating the food he bought. I asked him, he only knows Aldrix by his first name.

"Uh-huh, not yet. He seems to be a very busy person, minsan nga I'm doubting if he's royalty." He joked.

Agad naman akong natawa. "Corny mo palagi."

Kinuha ko ang cellphone ko sa bag. I looked for his number and dialed it.

"Hey, kamusta." He asked. Halata sa boses nito na kakagising lamang. "What's your decision?"

"Uh, hehe. We're already on our way. Nasa plane na ako, papuntang Bicol." I said, happily. Knowing I am near the place where my daughter was last found, it makes my heart jump in joy.

"Huh? What the heck Ashaia." Bulyaw nito.

"Did you just scream at me?"
