the day has finally ended. the group has once again met up outside, deciding to go out together once more before they actually split ways. plus, junhyeon and hanbin had to help gyuvin clean his car. taerae actually was able to convince gyuvin that he had nothing to do with it and therefore, didn't need to help clean.

"wait, where are we going? because what if people think we're cutting classes since we're still in our uniforms?" kamden asked, not wanting to deal with random people at the moment. he was really tired.

"I think we'll be fine. if anyone gets the wrong idea, we can just tell them." (s) hanbin said, getting into his car. matthew, gunwook, and (p) hanbin followed after him.

"can I PLEASE drive one of your cars?" y/n asked gyuvin and kamden.

"so me, hiyyih, and hika can all go together." she added with a pout.

"you know what, just use mine." kamden said, tossing his keys to y/n.

"I'll also help you clean up their mess." he said to gyuvin.

y/n smiled and hugged kamden.

"THANK YOU! I promise that nothing will happen to it." she thanked with a big smile. kamden nodded.

"there better be nothing later. if theres even the smallest scratch, you're paying." he "threatened." y/n nodded, dragging the two other girls with her to the car.

matthew sent the location in their group chat and y/n put it into her gps.

the gps brought the girls to a new cafe. a cat cafe to be exact.

parking outside of the cafe, y/n, hikaru, and bahiyyih exited the car and waited outside for the others. they didn't want to go in just yet, in case that it wasn't the right place and they'd be waiting there for nothing.

junhyeon and taerae appeared in front of them.

"is this where we're supposed to go?" junhyeon asked, recieving shrugs from the three. matthew appeared after.

"okay. we're here." he said, smiling. they waited for the rest of their group to show up and then they all went in.

walking in, they already received a bunch of attention. people turned to stare at them as they walked to the order desk. I mean, who wouldn't? when a group of really attractive people walk in at the same time, of course they would get stares.

y/n was lowkey starting to get uncomfortable with all the attention she's getting. they just walked in and shes already been looked up and down by some random person near the door. out of reflex, she hooked arms with the closest person beside her, that being taerae.

with the sudden physical contact, he looked at the girl beside him. subtly leaning down to whisper in her ear, he asked what was wrong.

"uh, I'm starting to get kind of uncomfy from all the weird looks I'm getting.." she whispered back. she hoped that those creeps would stop looking at her like that, but from the looks of it, more people started to stare at her.

hearing this, taerae did a quick look around to see that everyone was indeed staring at them, and some were giving them that look.

he pursed his lips before doing what could risk quite a few things. he unhooked their arms and instead, wrapped it around her waist. his action pulled her closer to him and he tried his best to seem protective of her.

"eunjae, look at them. do you think they're dating?" a random person "whispered" to their friend.

"chaeyeon, be quiet. they might hear you." the friend replied, gently smacking them. they nodded nonetheless.

since they were barely being quiet, junhyeon heard their small conversation and turned to look at who they were talking about. at the back of their group, he spotted taerae holding y/n close, smiles on their faces.

he didn't want to be one of those basic bitches but he indeed felt a pang in his heart. not knowing the context made it worse as well, since he never expected taerae, of all people, to be looking like he's being romantic with y/n. he decided to ask about it later, when they were in a more private area.

for now, he'll just have to bear with it.
