megan's cat cafe on 127, 4:02pm
their group finally was able to get a room. the room wasn't as private as they thought it'd be but it was good enough. the only thing is, there was no door. since the door was missing, the wall area for that room was also missing. it made it easier for the cats to walk around so it makes sense but also, it was kind of awkward.
taerae and y/n made sure to sit with their backs facing the people they saw when they walked in, just so that they had some sort of comfort and privacy. junhyeon sat beside y/n.
despite it being a cafe, a waiter came to take their orders. after they left, junhyeon took this time to ask about what he just saw.
"y/n." he whispered, leaning over to be closer to her.
"hm? what?" she whispered back, looking at him.
"what was happening between you and taerae?" he whispered.
"oh, you saw that? I was just feeling uncomfortable from all the looks I was getting." she explained, a sigh coming out.
"ahh, okay." junhyeon nodded, patting her head.
"I hope you feel a bit better now." he added before tunning into the conversation the rest were currently having.
having to "keep up with the act" since people now think that they might be together, he told y/n beforehand that he was going to put his arm around her shoulders.
getting the approval, he did as he told her and started playing with a small amount of her hair.
their friends saw and questioned this, going to the group chat for answers.

the group looked back up at each other, starting to talk about something else.
soon, their orders came and they all dug in, playing with the cats that came into the room.

y/n held up a cat to taerae.
"look, it looks just like him." she giggled. she then held up another one.
"matthew, this one looks like you." she added, petting the one that looked like him after putting him on the table. she picked up the taerae cat and placed him right beside the matthew cat, then taking a picture of them.
"no one will be able to tell the difference, at all." she smiled, putting her phone down and paying attention to the cats.
she's been putting up with this "dating taerae" act for the past fifteen minutes. it wasn't bad, but it was a tad bit awkward. the people who thought they were together are still there and they are definitely watching. you could hear their conversation.
they've been planning on going up to the group and getting their instagrams, because as mentioned, they were literally a group of extremely good looking people.
taerae felt bad for junhyeon, especially since junhyeon was sitting right beside y/n. all taerae wanted was for junhyeon and y/n to get together but y/n didn't seem to notice his best friend's attraction towards her.
junhyeon picked up the cat in his lap and showed it to y/n.
"this one looks like you." he smiled, placing the cat on the table after. he took a picture of the cat and placed his phone beside her face to show everyone.
he continued to play with the cat after that, getting a few more pictures before they decided to leave.
they cleaned up their table the best they could and went to pay for everything.
as they were about to leave, the door opened and came in another big group. the two groups awkwardly stood in front of each other before the second group moved to the side to let them pass.
as they walked by, a guy's arm brushed against y/n's side. him wanting to apologize, stopped her for a second to apologize.
y/n, feeling uncomfortable once again, nodded and told him it was fine. he seemed to want to talk to her and hold her back from leaving, making her more uncomfortable.
"hey, babe? let's go." taerae called out to her. seeing that she wasn't moving, he walked over to them and chuckled.
"baby, let's go." he said, a smile appearing on his face. he grabbed hold of y/n's hand, interlocking their fingers. he then brought her with him to the others.
junhyeon looked at her worriedly.
"you're okay, right?" he asked. he got a nod in response and lead her into kamden's car.

with this, they all finally went their ways and said their goodbyes.
