question six- dream job

answer- i don't know. as long as i make enough money to support myself and soulmate and are happy

today, i was going to meet my soulmate, six weeks after taking the test. i was excited, to say the least. even though i was scared and worried, i had been looking forward to this day for far too long to not be.

question seven- tea or coffee?

answer- coffee, bitch

i was in an office building. it was bland and gray, with harsh yellow lights and locked doors. but, it was full of smiling couples, all newly matched. that's the only reason people went here. the test was administered somewhere else, so the only regulars here where employs in matching white button-ups, maroon ties and black slacks.

question eight- are you bored of this test already?

answer- are you shitting me?

i stood out, from both the employes and others. my hands shook from coffee and my eyes were red-rimmed from lack of sleep. i looked like shit, hunched over in a white plastic chair, with my wrinkled- probably dirty- black tee and skinny jeans. but if my match didn't like how i looked now, it sucked for him. i was comfy.

"frank iero?" a man called.

i looked up. he was dressed the same as the rest, except with a bow tie instead of a regular tie. he clutched a thick folder with my name printed on the front; most likely my test and match information.

"that's me." he motioned for me to stand and follow him out of the waiting room. after a short trip through a crowded hallway lined with numbered doors, we stopped out side of number 32.

question nine- favorite color

answer- green

"your match, with a compatibility rate of an astonishing 96.54%, is gerard way. he's one year older than you, 19, and identifies as demisexual, similarly to you."

he pulled out a keycard and unlocked the door, swinging it open.

inside, sat gerard way. he was cute, i guess, with his stripped shirt and tight jeans, swinging his legs while sitting on the small couch. he brushed back his longish black hair when the door opened, eyebrows raised.

"finally found someone good enough?"

question ten- first word that comes to mind when thinking of the soulmate system?

answer- disappointment

"better," said the man with the bow tie said. "we found a match with over 96% compatibility. he's name is frank iero."
