All things go, all things go
All things go, all things go
I feel one minute, yeah, we got it then it's gone
While we keep waiting for a moment to live for
So can't nobody ever tell me that I'm wrong

Devin and I were in the car as he rushed to the hospital.

"AHHHH" I yelled in agony, holding my stomach.

"Hold on baby, we almost there." Devin said, passing through every red light and stop sign.

At the rate he was going, we made it to the hospital five minutes earlier than we usually do.
Devin got out, carried me and rushed inside the hospital.

"WE NEED HELP!" He yelled.

Nurses rushed to us with a crash cart.
"What happened ma'am? What's your name?" One nurse asked.

"I don't know, I woke up bleeding and my stomach is killing me." I cried, ignoring the last question. "I need Dr. Micheals."

"I'm sorry miss, but he's not working tonight. We need to get you to the ER."

"Then you need to call him!" I snapped. "I need my doctor here now!"

She nodded and they rushed me to the emergency room. Devin trailed along calling somebody.

"Get her drugs." I heard one nurse said. Yes, please do. Lord knows I need it.

They stuck the IV in my arm and looked down under.

"Ma'am. You're having contractions."

"What? I'm only 7 months."

"Well you're in labor, sweetie. Your contractions are about 10 minutes apart."

I shook my head. "I'm not having this baby without Dr. Micheals."

The nurse didn't respond. She turned to Devin. "What's her name?"

"Brandee Wright."

"Are you the father?"

I started to say no, but Devin beat me.

"Yes, yes I am." He said.

"Well sir, you need to calm your wife down."

He nodded and the nurse walked out.

"Babe, you need to calm down. Don't stress yourself."

I started hyperventilating. I was scared. I'm having this baby 2 months early.

"Hey, hey. Breathe." Devin said calmly, squeezing my shoulders.

I took deep breaths until I was stable. Then the sharp pain in my stomach returned.

I screamed out in pain and the nurse ran in with the doctor. The doctor took a seat.

"Hi Brandee, I'm Dr. Smith. I need you to push now."

"No, where is Dr. Micheals???"

Just then, Dr. Micheals ran in trying to put on his lab coat.

"I'm here Brandee. Someone give me a pair of gloves."

I sighed with relief as Dr. Micheals got prepped. He took the other's doctor's place.

"Okay Brandee, first thing I need you to do is prop up your legs."

I did as told.
