Marinette Bakugou's POV:
I woke up early in the morning with a yawn and a stretch. Glancing over, I saw Katsuki snoring softly, his face nestled against my stomach. I smiled and pecked his cheek, making him whine a bit.
Slipping out of bed, I padded to the bathroom. The warm shower helped wake me up, the steam rising around me as I stood there, savouring the moment. Afterward, I brushed my teeth and looked at myself in the mirror.
My dark blue midnight hair, now cut to my shoulders, framed my face. My bluebell eyes, bright and clear, stared back at me. Freckles dusted my cheeks, and I sighed, noting that I was still the same height, 4'11".
I retired from professional volleyball, a career I cherished because I'm now 38. A wistful sigh escaped me, but my spirits lifted as I remembered my current role as a karate sensei. It brought fulfillment differently. And guess who's playing volleyball now? I giggled at the thought.
Katsuki Bakugou's POV:
The smell of breakfast roused me from sleep. Groaning, I sat up, yawning and stretching. A quick shower and a hurried brush of my teeth later, I caught my reflection in the mirror.
My red eyes, framed by slight bags from countless sleepless nights, stared back at me. My blonde, ashy hair had grown a bit longer but remained as spiky as ever. Standing a little past 6 feet, I was still packed with muscles, each scar a badge of honour from battles fought.
I was still Ground Zero, a pro hero dedicated to protecting others. But beneath the tough exterior, a part of me was forever haunted by that night seventeen years ago.
Akiko Bakugou's POV:
I was up way earlier than my parents, as usual, hitting the gym. Working out was my life; I had to stay fit for volleyball and remain at the top of my game.
Mom was thrilled when I signed up for volleyball as a kid, and now, at 17, I was an amazing player in high school. My dark blue midnight hair, reaching my waist, and my red eyes were inherited from my parents.
Despite my achievements, there was always an emptiness inside me. I tried different hobbies and interests, hoping to fill the void, but nothing ever did. I couldn't shake the feeling that something crucial was missing from my life.
Inferno's POV:
Shouts echoed outside my room, dragging me from sleep. If you could even call it a room. I groaned and sat up, knowing I wouldn't get any more rest.
In the broken bathroom, I brushed my teeth and washed my face, staring at my reflection in the cracked mirror. Dark blue midnight hair, slightly spiky, framed my face. Red eyes, with bags under them, stared back at me. A scar ran through my left eyebrow and eye, a punishment from my past.
My name is Inferno. I have no real name, crazy, I know. My quirk? Explosions. Yay. I changed into my uniform, simple and practical.
Entering the main room, the other villains greeted me with a mix of rough affection and mockery. A slap to the back of my head made me groan, and I sat down as Dabi shoved a plate of breakfast in front of me, ruffling my hair before sitting beside me.
All my life, I've been a villain. Fighting, killing, and causing chaos were all I knew. Yet, an emptiness gnawed at me, a void I couldn't understand or fill. What was missing? Would I ever know?
Villain costume but without the mask.
