Chapter 12

Katty was having the hardest time standing still. "I'm to exited!!" She yelped. "Well you need to calm down or I'm going to end up poking you with the needle." Silverblade sighed. She had been working with Katty for almost two hours. "But I want to see it!" She wined. "You will of you give me three minutes."

Silverblade was finally able to finish. Katty ran up to the mirror. "It looks so good. Its even got my symbol on it." Katty was the youngest out of them all, she so she had a child like personality, but they were fine with that. It kept them young, and remembering good times of there own childhood.

"Okay, Hiroko your turn." Silverblade shouted. He leaped up off the couch, walking over into Silverblade little corner of the room. He stood on the little pedestal at gave him some height. Silverblade walked around him a few times, getting the idea of his body.

"Your getting me dizzy with all that pacing around." Hiroko shook his head. "Apologies, let's get started." Silverblade pulled out a pice of fabric. Hiroko had the terrified look on his face. "Calm down, this will hurt a lot less then you thing. As long as you don't move." Hiroko was starting to second guess himself.

Silverblade sat on the floor looking up at the celling. Her hands hurt like hell. She had finished all the designs for the others.

"You going to get up off the floor?" Charlie asked, poking her head in. "Don't think I will." Silverblade replied, lowering her head. Charlie skipped towards her, sliding agents the wall till she hit the floor.

The two sat there quietly. Charlie glanced over at Silverblade. "Do you mind if I ask you something?" She said, in a soft town. Silverblade glanced over to the side. "Sure, what's up." She said, sitting up right.

There was a long moment before Charlie spoke again. "Do we have to go back to are old homes after the day is over?" She asked, her voice sounded wobbly. "Technically no. We have everything we need here to live, I just never made it a rule that we had to stay." Silverblade srugged her shoulders lightly. "That's good. Because we were planing on having a sleep over. Do you want to join?" She asked, her face full of joy.

"Maybe. I'm kinda tired." Silverblade replied. Charlie jumped up to her feet. "That's okay. Will be in the living room if you decide to join us." She skipped out of the room happily. Silverblade smiled lightly, a real smile.

"You seam to like them much more than your regular family." Riverstep said, sitting down next to Silverblade. "I feel as if this is where I belong. We understand each other better than anyone else." Riverstep arched her brow. "What do you mean by that?" Riverstep asked.

Silverblade took a deep breath. "It's hard to explain. It's like we're all connected some how. We know what other people are thinking." Riverstep stood up right. "Well you do have the elemental master of the mind." Silverblade shook her head. "All of us. Charlie new there was something up so she came to see me. I knew what she was going to ask with out even reading her mind." Riverstep turns her head around surprises.

"That should not be possible." Riverstep thought deeply. "You know the saying how people can share one brain cell?" Silverblade asked, glancing up. "Yes. I am quiet away of that. Though you and your friends share more then a brain cell?" Silverblade nodded.

"I'm not sure how, but it feels like we belong with each other. I normally feel weird around people, but them." Silverblade smiled lightly. "I don't have to hide who I am." Riverstep smiled lightly. For years she has tried to make people understand her daughter, but no one could.

"I am glade you have made some friends. Your no longer alone in the world." Silverblade stood up. "That is true. I have my own people." Silverblade walked into the living room.

"Look who's decided to join us." Phi said, leaning his head over the back of the couch. "So what are you watching?" Silverblade asked sitting down next to Katty. She instantly curled up next to Silverblade. "Scare movies." Katty mummbled. Silverblade smiled lightly. "Don't worry I'll protect you." She said, pulling Katty into her lap.
