Kao sat on the porch. It was raining slightly. Silverblade was walking behind everyone. They were heading back out to the mountain range. Kao had seen them pass lots of time. Some came back cheerfully while others weren't.
They had gotten better at not letting the wind knock them over. But it was raining, would they still be able to do it.
Silverblade glanced over to the side. Kao and her made eye contact. Kao stood up, taking a step closer to the edge of the porch. Silverblade walked up to him, she was carrying an umbrella but wasn't using it.
"Kao." She said. Kao was surprised his own daughter would use his name like that. Usually daughters would never call there father by there name, it's just wrong. "Where are you off to in a storm like this?" He asked, crossing his arms. "Where else. The mountain range." Silverblade replied, narrowing her eyes.
Kao shook his head. "Your going to catch a cold. Put on a jacket or something." Silverblade rolled her eyes. "Ya, I'll make sure to do that. Since you have always been so worried about my well being." Silverblade turned around and walked back to the group.

Silverblade sat on the edge of her cliff. The others were sitting in the middle. They were as still as the mountain. No matter how hard the wind pushed they didn't topple over. Silverblade on the other hand had her mind else where.
Silverblade couldn't help but think about what Kao said. "Put on a jacket or something." They repeated in her head. Kao only ever cared about himself when her mother died. She had to remind him to out on a jacket every time he left the house.
"Something's on your mind." Roin said, jumping over to Silverblade's mountain. He sat down more towards the center. "It's noting you don't have to worry about me." Silverblade replied, lifting her head.
"Well there is clearly something that is bothering you. You know you could talk to us." Roin looked at Silverblade with sadness in his eyes. "Just something Kao told me today. It's not much of a big deal." Silverblade sighed deeply. "Well could you at least get away from the edge." Roin said a little worriedly.
Silverblade turned her head around. "If I killed the overlord on my own what would you think of me?" She asked, with a serious town. "Well for one your brave. But stupid and ignorant. We won't let you sacrifice yourself to save others because your mad at yourself for who knows what reason!" Roin snapped.
Everything went quiet. The howling of the wind brushed passed Silverblade's ear. "I don't know what I would do with out you. If I lost you all my life would be over completely. I can't lose the only people I care about in my life. Just this once don't take them away." Silverblade said.
Roin new she wasn't talking to him but to the gods above. Silverblade had lost a lot since a young age. "Just promise you won't do anything with out talking with us first?" Roin smiled peacefully. "Sure." She replied.
