Chapter 13

Kao paced around in the living room. "Dear I'm sure she will talk to you." Zera said, in a sweet town. The door unlocked. Everyone's attention turned towards the door.

Silverblade walked through the door with Ash and Koko. She had dragged Ash along with the two so he wouldn't be moping around.

"Where have you been!!" Zera shouted, standing up. The three of them looked at the two adults in the room. "That's what your dad looks like!!" Ash blurted out. "I thought he would be different. But this is not at all what the stories tell you." Ash gagged.

"Just wait here. I'll be right back." Silverblade completely ignored the two adults and walked into the spare room.

"You think you can just walk back in here after three months on no one being able to find you!!" Kao shouted. Silverblade glanced behind her. Everyone has known where Silverblade been. She didn't disappear of the face of earth.

"I didn't go missing. Everyone has known where I've been." Kao grabbed Silverblade by the hair. She yelped at the sudden pull. "You can't just go off on your own. You had us worried sick about you." Zera shouted. Silverblade tried to pull her hair out of her grip.

"Young lady you are no going anywhere with out are super vision." Kao nodded in agreement. "Why!! Even when I am here you never notice me. You literally gave up my room so your stupid ass kids could have some where to play!" Silverblade hissed.

Ash grabbed Zera's arm. "Let her go." He said in a cold town. It sent shivers down everyone's spine. Zera slowly let go of Silverblade's hair. It stoped agents her shoulders.

"You all right?" Koko asked, coming to her side. Silverblade could feel her heart pounding in her chest. It felt like it might burst throw her skin. Koko tried to touch Silverblade, she took a step back.

Ash turns towards the two. Silverblade was shivering from head to toe. "Silver, is everything all right?" Ash asked, using the nickname everyone called her. Silverblade held her hands close to her chest, rapping her fingers around a necklace.

"Sweet heart, we can't help if you don't talk to us." Kao tried to hug Silverblade. She ran to Ash, hiding behind him. He towers over her badly. Ash turns his head to look at her.

Koko and Ash shared a look. "Let's go home." Ash could see Silverblade wasn't going to move anymore. Her body was paralyzed in fear. He picked her up brutal style and walked out of the house.

Silverblade layed on her bed. Her knees close to her chest. The covers were pulled over her.

"Silver?" Naomi poked her head in. "Please go away." Silverblade mummbled. Her voice sounded shallow and hard. "Silver your starting to worry us, could you at least come out for a while." Silverblade could feel the bed sink.

Naomi looked over at the lump of blanket. "Americas funniest videos are on." She said, hoping Silverblade would say something. "Anything good?" She asked, slightly moving. " not sure. You'll have to come and find out." Naomi smiled lightly. Silverblade sat up, he blanket over her head.

They both looked at each other. Naomi got up from the bed, she held out her hand. Silverblade hesitate but took it. Naomi dragged her to the living room. The others were all ready around the tv.

"Silver!!" Katty said cheerfully. Silverblade gave her a light smile. She sat down next to Ash. She felt safe when she was near him for some reason. Ash pulled Silverblade closer to him.

The night was filled with laughter. Even Silverblade thought some of the stuff was funny. Ash was the only person that didn't think anything was funny.

It was around one in the morning. Ash turned off the tv. Only Sora and Silverblade were the only people still on the couch. Silverblade was leaning up agents the side of the couch, her head hanging over the arm rest.

Ash sighed as he picked her up. He headed down to her room. Ash placed her down on the bed. "Mhm." Silverblade griped onto Ash's shirt. "Stay." She mummbled. Ash looked around the room. He sat down next to Silverblade.

She cuddled close into his chest. Ash tightened at first, not sure what to do. He eventually relaxed. He raped his arms around Silverblade.

Silverblade woke up in Ash's chest. She froze for a moment. "Morning." Ash said, grabbing Silverblade's attention. "Morning." Silverblade replied sleepily. Ash sat up. "We got school." Silverblade rolled over with a grown.

Ash walked over towards the door. "I don't want to go to school." Silverblade wined. "Not my problem, get up!" Ash snapped, in his usual aggressive town. Silverblade rolled of the side of the bed. She grabbed she school stuff, not even changing her clothes.

Silverblade walked into class. She was wearing a white crop top that had a red tie diy stan on it. She had dark blue shorts on. "We'll look at you." Molly said, looking Silverblade up and down. "Mind your own damn business." Silverblade hissed.

Class was boring and un exited. That was until Silverblade's phone went off. She quickly scrambled it out of her pocket, ready to put it on silence. "No go ahead, answer it. Put on speaker will you." The teacher said, looking at Silverblade.

She paused for a moment, unsure if he was being serious. "I'm serious. Answer it." Silverblade answers the phone, putting it on speaker and laying it on the desk. Everyone instantly went quiet.

"Where the hell were you last night?!!" Kao shouted. "You didn't come home, so you better have a good explanation!!" Silverblade rolled her eyes. "I'm nineteen, I can do what I want." Silverblade replied.

You could here Kao slam his phist down on the table. "That dose not give you the permission to just not come home or not tell us where you were!!" He shouted. Silverblade was trying to keep her cool. "Well sorry, you had things you were doing. I didn't think it was that big of a deal if I spent the night at a friends house." Silverblade replied with a slight hint of anger.

"God!! I wish I never had a child like you! Your just like your mother. Always wanting to go and do things on your own. I am trying to keep you safe, even if I have to be controlling! I should of let you die along with your mother!!" Kao shouted.

Silverblade lowered her head. The whole class blinked a few times. Tears started to roll down Silverblade's cheeks.

"You listen here big guy!!" Kira shouted, taking the phone. "Silverblade is probably the only person in this school who knows pie off the top of her head. She is smart, kind, loyal, hardworking, she puts others before her self. You were given the gift of being Silverblade's father, so don't you ever say she is better off dead, because she's not!!" Kira shouted, hanging up the phone.

Silverblade and Kira have never been on the same page about anything. "Thank you." Silverblade mumbled. "Don't take it to heart. Someone had to tell him the truth." Kira siad, crossing her arms over her chest, looking away.
