After coming out of the doctor's cabin, Nirmaan was completely blank. He couldn't process the information he had just received. He wasn't able to understand how he would even tell anybody about this, especially his wife. What would she ever do? What would he do?
He was sitting, regretting every second of time he had left his wife alone yesterday. Then he remembered the reason for all this. He picked up the phone and made a call. After doing so, he left to go back home.
He was screaming at the top of his lungs, standing in the middle of the room. Everyone came running out to see what was happening. They were all shocked to see the police standing there.
"Nirmaan, what is going on?" asked his father.
Instead of answering, Nirmaan just gestured to the cops, saying, "She is the one, arrest her."
Bua ji's eyes were bulging out of her sockets. She tried to pull herself away. Others were standing in shock, and his father was trying to stop him from doing it.
"Nirmaan!! What are you doing? She is your Aunt!" he stood there, his arms crossed, while Bua ji was trying to free herself, crying and begging.
The cops took her away, and Nirmaan turned, ready to leave. But his father turned him abruptly, looking at him with anger.
"She's the reason why Subi is in the hospital," Nirmaan said, rising his voice in anger. The whole family was shocked to hear those words.
"Have you even seen her condition? No, I have. She is fighting for her life. And do you know what else the doctor told me?" he was speaking, and everyone was waiting for him to complete, looking really scared.
But he didn't. "Let's not talk about it right now. Let's just wait for her to wake up and then see. I don't want to talk about what didn't happen." Saying so, he left for the hospital.
Nirmaan, his parents, Subi's brother, and Bade Papa with Siddharth were also there. It had been almost twenty-four hours, and she might get back to her conscious state anytime now.
Nirmaan was sitting beside her, while others were waiting outside. When Subi's eyes flickered a little, she was trying to open her eyes.
Her head was hurting hard, there was a stinging pain on her face due to the stickers, and her arm was hurting like hell with the fracture. "Maa...Maan?"
She called her husband. Nirmaan came rushing towards her, who was sitting on the sofa a moment ago.
She wanted to get up, but her body wasn't supporting her at the moment. "Maan?" and he hummed. "Please turn on the lights, Bohot ajeeb lag raha hai andhere main," (it feels really weird in the dark) she said in a low and forced voice.
