I had lost track of two things whilst we follow Satoz, the man who was in charge of the first phase.

One, I had no idea where Killua was and two, how long we had been running for.

We had been running for a while now, I'm aware of that by how many people have been dropping like flies around me. It was honestly pretty heartbreaking, but that's on them for not being ready.

"Hey kid! That's cheating!" I hear someone yell behind me. I stop running and turn around to see the suited man from earlier yelling at Killua who was on his skateboard.

"Why?" Killua cluelessly asks.

"The guy only said to follow him, he never said how you had to," I say to the man as Killua looks at me.

"This is an endurance test!" The man continued.

"She's got a point," the green haired boy nods at my statement.

"Gon, whose side are you on?!"

"You should conserve your energy, you're going to need it," the blonde states softly.

"Hey, how old are you?" Killua asks Gon.

"Twelve!"

"Huh, the same as me." Killua hums.

"I can't believe I'm older than both of you!" I exclaim.

"Wait you're older?!" Killua gasps looking at me with wide eyes, I only smile. Killua huffs, "I guess I should run now." Killua then gets off his skateboard and goes into a run.

"Woah! That was so cool!" Gon exclaims with stars in his amber eyes.

"My name is Killua."

"Gon!"

"I'm Y/N."

Killua leans forward a bit to look at the two others who were running beside us, "and you mister?"

"I'm a teenager just like you all!" The 'older' male yells.

"Woah!" My eyes widen.

"Really?!" Killua exclaims.

"Are you sure?!" Gon adds.

I noticed that the blonde boy was also in shock at this information, though he stayed quiet. "A-anyway, what are your guys' names?"

"Kurapika."

"Leorio."

The five of us continued to run, though with Killua, Gon and I being faster than Kurapika and Leorio. Gon soon came to a halt which caused Killua and I to pause in our tracks, Gon spun around to Leorio, "Leorio!"

"Just leave him." Killua instructs. "We're not here to have fun."

I smirk, "that's rich coming from you."

Killua glances at me, "what's that supposed to mean?"

"You told me you only came here to have fun...for a challenge," I say.

Killua looks away as a harsh wind blows pass us. I look ahead of us to see Leorio pushing through and running further on ahead. "That was so cool!" I hear Killua exclaim beside me as I looked to him and Gon. We had started up our running again, Gon's fish rod now hooked to Leorio's briefcase. "You'll have to show me how to do that later!"

"Sure, as long as I can use your skateboard!" Gon agrees.

We continued to run for miles, soon we made it towards the front without even realizing we had done so.
