A/N: I sadly have an idea for aizawa fanfic and that scares me UNRELATED this chapter is 3.5k words >:0

YOUR POV:

The world was vast and colorful as I walked down the steps, it was the complete opposite of what the room prior was. The room prior was white and holographic, though this seemed to replicate the real world. "Sorry for the long wait." I apologize to the two boys who were patiently waiting for my arrival.

"Took you long enough," Killua says.

"It's not my fault, I got last!" I complain.

"Don't be mean to Y/N. She tried her best!" Gon huffs.

"Gon said he didn't get any cards. So we decided that we would go get some," Killua tells me.

"Yeah? And where would we do that?" I ask.

The two boys then take off toward the city as I run after them to keep up. The two entered a fighting competition to win a card. And currently, it was Gon vs Killua.

"It's the championship finals, round seven! Ready...go!"

...and that fighting competition was playing jankenpon.

"Killua wins!"

"Yes!" Killua cheers.

Gon groans in response.

"Here is your prize, the Sword of Truth."

Killua takes the sword and it instantly transforms into a card. "This is card no.83."

"Alright! That's one card down!" Gon exclaims as the two high five.

We leave soon after and head toward the city. Killua had opened his book which holds all the cards that a player can collect. "The problem now is protecting the card. We don't have defense cards."

"It can't be that hard to defend a card right?" I ask, "I mean I know others will try and take it, but it really can't be that hard."

"Kids! Stop!" A voice behind us demands as the three of us stop in our tracks. "Hand over that Sword of Truth! If you do as I say, then I won't be rough with ya."

"No way, baka." Killua declines as we begin to walk off again.

"W-Wait a sec! Book!"

We instantly spun around and called for our books. The man smirked, "you're bluffing! I know you just started the game, so you have no defensive cards." He pulls out a card named Thief which would allow him to steal a random card from our selection. "Thief on! Attack Kil—."

Gon grabs the card, "haven't you been training?" Gon then throws the card back at the man, "next time, I won't return it."

Since when has Gon been so tough?! I mean he's always kinda been but...oh I know, it's all that time with Killua.

"I'm impressed that an amateur like you got into a game for Hunters. An attack spell won't kick in until you finish the chant," Killua explains.

"Th-That only works against weak players!"

We dismiss our books and try to walk away, however we're stopped by a group of players looking for a fight.

"Exactly. If you want a card, you've gotta take it from someone. Only fools participate in tournaments." A man wearing a furry purple hat says as he pulls out a card, "understand?"

We loss, needless to say.

Gon was irritated and pissed that they beat us so easily, while Killua and I were trying to calm him down.
