YOUR POV:

Why was going uphill always harder than going down hill? Why were hills even a thing to begin with? They suck.

"Hey Killua, something's been bothering me." Gon speaks up, "aren't there hundreds of players? Isn't it weird that we've been able to turn all our items into cards?"

"What do you mean?" Bisky interjects.

"Even B rank slot types have a thirty card limit. The players before us should've already collected them." Gon explains.

"Yeah...you can look at it that way. Fewer than thirty teams in this game are capable of making real progress. Most players aren't worried about getting specified slot cards." Killua says, "they're just struggling to find a way out of the game."

Gon nervously smiles, "it would suck if you went to Masadora and they didn't have any Leave cards."

"...yeah I get it." Killua pauses in his way, "if you guys went to Masadora, but there weren't any leave cards...what would you do?"

"I would save up my money until a card showed up." Bisky says.

"I would probably steal others." I admit.

"You could do that...but what if you acquired a super rare spell card while waiting?" Killua continues.

"You would sell it and buy more spell cards until a Leave card appeared." Gon says.

"I would save it. If you did then you might be able to trade it for a—oh!" Bisky suddenly exclaims as Gon nods.

"...what am I missing out on..?" I mutter watching the three.

We make our way back to Masadora and talk up our cards to random players, trying to gain as many types as possible. After that we headed to the field to show off our cards.

"We're running out of free slots," Killua comments.

We decide to move around our cards and organize them. "We've been avoiding other players but we'll have to take risks in order to obtain rarer cards." Killua says.

"Let's deal with what we can for now and then actively negotiate with other players we meet." Bisky suggests, "sound good?"

We continued towards the forest to continue our mission, thankfully Gon's necklace was helpful with revealing real and fake cards, but also helping with curses.

"I was wondering if a curse was behind the disease that all those villagers were suffering from." Gon says.

"Oh you mean those people!" Bisky exclaims, "that necklace won't work on them since they aren't cards."

We returned to the village and were greeted once again by the villagers.

"Will you trust us with your lives?" Gon asks.

"You freely gave us everything you had...we trust you." And with that, they transformed into cards.

Doing tasks like this seemed worthless to me, but to the boys these silly little tasks meant the world to them.

Gon was putting a card into a slot when his book told him that a player was contacting him.

"Hey it's Kazule."

...who?

"I'd like to talk to you. Could we meet up in person?"

"About...?"

"Some people are close to clearing the game. It's a three man team which is led by someone named Genthru."

We agreed to meet up with them at the set location. When we arrived there were plenty of other players who were waiting for the meeting to begin.
