America was once nation of freedom and equality,now ravaged in chaos and war. Though chaos cannot last forever as the famous saying said"Nothing truly last forever"
As our duo escaped death or captivity from the brotherhood of steel, James on the other hand have a question on his mind on why the enclave is so hellbent to reinstate America in its image not from its ideals. They walked for hours resting for sometime as the brotherhood is clearly hunting for them. Later, at night they set up a campfire to warm themselves of the cold and cooking for food as they are hungry.
James:Since we are going to be together for sometime, so tell me about yourself?
The enclave soldier:I rather not because I still don't trust you since we only met for only hours ago, but I have a question? How do you I'm from the Enclave?
James:It's because of the symbol in the vertibird and also word fly fast, since the sole survivor destroyed the rig. I have also a question? Why the Enclave is so hellbent of genociding the mutants, ghouls and non-enclave Humans?
The soldier is silent but answered
The enclave soldier:It is to recreate America from the abominations of the wasteland, to create America in our own image, As the Enclave have the right to reclaim American land! The right to reinstate the United States of America as a whole but without mutants, ghouls and wastelands as they are not true Americans!
James:No, you're wrong. Have you forgotten the ideals of Pre-war America? Have you forgotten to the ideals of Life, liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness written in our Declaration of Independence against the British Monarchy? What would our founding fathers say about our deeds? Would they be proud or would they be disappointed at our actions? Have you forgotten the three simple words, We the People. The Power is to its people, not the government's. When the government expands, the people lose their liberty. Our founding fathers strived to make America the land of the free and equality! And you say that the right of those words is only for the enclave. It's an betrayal to the ideals of America. If Hitler sees our state, then he would laugh as it's government had fallen to fascism of the past, he had the last laugh! To prove him wrong is to return Democracy to the United States and end the Martial law that had been in effect since in 2077.As you have the power to reinstate the United States with its ideals returned, your government only sought power to the United States. The world ended because of ideological differences, capitalism against communism. Humanity's hatred to one another is also due to propaganda of their leaders and belief of superiority. We must learn the mistakes of the past and make a path of peace and prosperity, but habits and beliefs die hard as the one who believes are not easily changed. So in order to bring back our great nation, we must be the legitimate government, a government that follows the ideals of Pre-war America of Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness! We must also show that the phrase of the right of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness did not end in the Great War, but rather lives on. To be seen as Americans once again is to follow the ideals of Pre-war America but the people and we must also seen them as Americans as they born and lived on this soil. We must bring back our democracy and freedom back to the people. No longer to be seen as the one who will be responsible of the genocide of the people of the wasteland.
The Enclave Soldier was stunned at this development, he was even more dumbstruck at the speech he delivered and stared at him, he started to question what is really the goal of the Enclave, was it to restore the Democracy to the people or recreate America at its own image by the means of Genocide and keep the power leading to betray American Ideals? Regardless of the intentions, he may never know on why the Enclave is hellbent on Extermination the citizens of the American Wasteland.
James:Well let's sleep after we eat.
They ate the cooked food prepare by James Washington, after they finished then they go to sleep and rest for the night.
