I decided to write to Jisun after a week. It seems that she forgot about the letters already. But something weird is going on with Jiheon. She just randomly inserts Jisun in our conversations and asks about what I think about the latter. It's weird. It makes me think that she's shipping me to her.Anyway, I was busy writing my note for Jisun when I heard Jiheon's voice behind me.
"Unnie! What's that?" she asks and leaned to take a closer look on my note. I quickly hid it under my desk as I blushed furiously. What if she saw it? The whole set up will be ruined!
"Yah! Jiheon-ah, why are you startling me?? You could've at least informed me that you were coming," I questioned her with raised eyebrows.
"That's not fun though. And besides, I was here for a purpose." She shrugged while wriggling her brows at me. I glared at her.
"And what might be that purpose, oh?"
"It's a secret. You know, unnie. Cowardice is not a good trait. You're like, throwing away your chances of being happy," she says nonchalantly but with a firm tone.
"Jiheon, what are you trying to say?" I asked, truly confused with how she's acting right now.
"Nothing. Let's eat lunch later, unnie." She then changed to her usual self, smiling brightly at me. This made me furrow my brows even more.
I sighed and slid the note on my bag, praying that she didn't notice it.
"I'm practicing, Heon-ah. Recital is in a month so I should practice more," I shrugged.
"Huh? But unnie! We never get to spend lunch together in a while now. Nope, I'm gonna fetch you here later and we're going to eat lunch together. Period." She says with finality. "Anyway, I'm gonna go now. See you later, Gyuri-unnie!"
Jiheon skipped away from me while still wearing her bright smile. She's really acting weird.
**
"Gyuri-unnie."
I jumped slightly when I heard that voice. Why are people popping out from everywhere today? I gripped the note inside my pocket then turned to the owner of the voice. It was no other than Noh Jisun.
I awkwardly raised my hand and waved it then flashed her a smile, "Hey."
"Wanna join for some lunch later? I actually cooked a bit. Maybe you'd want to try some?" she asked with a hopeful tone.
I'd like to. But, I'm too awkward with her, plus Jiheon's gonna fetch me later.
"Oh? Um. I can't, I already promised Jiheon that we'll go to lunch together," I then scratched my nape as I looked elsewhere. She smiled.
"I know that. She'll be eating lunch with me later too, so that means you'll have no choice but to tag along," she chuckles.
I froze. Jiheon didn't mention anything about this? What is that kid planning? Is this one of her weird plans? Shoot.
"Uh, really? I-I didn't know that," I uttered.
"Well then, now you do. See you later, unnie," she smiled once again before turning to leave. I just stood there like a statue.
Something is going on and I bet all of my cards that Jiheon is behind all of it. Does she really know something?
I miss f9 girlies alreadyyyyy 😭🤧 I had writer's block for a long time and right now, I just squeezed my brain for some ideas so here it is. I hope y'all know that I didn't forget about this story.
