DONUTS? - IN OUR SUITS.

Tony

"Somethings going on between them." Pepper schooched herself out of bed.

"What do you mean?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

We walked into the kitchen. The teenagers weren't awake yet.

"I mean, they didn't talk much at supper, and for them, that's not normal."

"It's probably just a small deal. They'll be fine, Pep. Friday?"

"Yes, sir?"

"Make us some coffee, yeah?"

"Alright."

Friday began brewing the coffee. Pepper sat down with a sigh.

"Pep. They'll be fine. Everybody goes through fights."

I walked over to her and rubbed her shoulders lightly. She sighed in relief.

"You're right. It's nothing to worry about."

"Coffee's ready, sir." Friday interrupted.

"Perfect."

I grabbed the mugs filled with coffee from the counter and gave one to Pepper.

Jay

Okay. Just wake her up. It's really not that hard.

I stood there looking at Rudy and Poison in fear.

"Rudes?" I whispered and timidly stepped closer.

"Spidey?"

I poked her a bit. She shuffled and groaned. I winced.

This is torture.

"Rudy... we have an early training session today, we have to go."

I poked her a little harder.

"Go away, Jay." She swatted her hand at me.

"Come on. We'll be late."

"I'll murder you."

She opened one eye and looked at me furiously.

"Nat will be there." I gave her a toothy smile.

She closed her eye and groaned. She slowly got up. She gave me a look to tell me to get out as she covered herself with her blanket and stood up. I smiled and tilted my head a bit as I walked out.

That was easy.

I furrowed my eyebrows.

That was... easy...

Next thing I knew, Rudy was launching on top of me, sending me to face plant on the ground.

"Ow."

"Sorry, not sorry."

She helped me up and dusted me off. I gave her a small laugh.

"Come on. Get dressed, and we gotta go. I'll see you downstairs." I saluted her and jogged over to the elevator.

Tony

"How are the suits going?" Pepper gave me a smile.

"Really well. Almost finished, I just need to do the final tests, and they'll be able to see them."

"Good. I have to work so I'll see you later." Pepper pecked my lips and went off.

Damn, I love that woman.

"Don't forget, we're getting cheeseburgers tonight!"

"Okay, Tony!"

She snickered and opened the elevator to Jay. Jay smiled, and they both exchanged goodbyes before Pepper disappeared, and Jay walked over to me.
