Rudy

There she stood. The blonde, young, beautiful girl I once knew.

"Long time no see, baby cakes."

She held her hands in her pockets and casually walked toward me.

"Lily..."

All my past feelings of regret and remorse came up. I hated the way I just let her become like me. I hated how I didn't try. But. Trust was broken.

"Don't Lily me. You left me there. With a father who loved you more. If you never came, he would love me."

Is she serious?

I laughed a bit on the inside.

"Lily... I wanted to take you with. I wanted to bring you here, but it wasn't safe. It's not safe. And your dad's just an asswhole."

"Don't. Don't give me that bullshit. You never loved me. I was just something to help you get rid of your pain."

"No, Lily, that's not all you were. You were my sister. You were the one to betray me."

My voice got rough. Harsh. I couldn't show a girl like her any sign of weakness.

"I? Betrayed you?"

"Yes. You did. I was trying to help you, to give you a life I didn't have."

"Well, you did just an excellent job." She smiled sarcastically and rolled on her heels.

"I mean... look at you. You're all drugged up. Isn't that just what a great dad does?" I returned the sarcasm.

"You wouldn't have done any better."

"You sure?"

"Pretty sure."

"Ready to try it out?"

"I'm ready when you are."

We both got into our positions and circled each other. I casually walked while she aggressively sort of... crawled?

Tuh... rookie.

She jumped at me. I stopped in place and took a single step back, making her face plant on the ground beside me.

I see she has no spider reflexes.

I turned to her. She stood up and groaned angrily. I smirked a bit.

She's always been so... tempered.

She jumped at me again, her claws in front of her and headed for my face. I ducked backward and gave her a wink as she flew above me as if in slow motion. I stood straight again and webbed her before she hit the ground to fly her into a bench to the left to us. The bench broke.

She's not nearly as strong as me.

She stood up weakly. Heavily breathing while I was barely even fazed. You could almost see the red in her eyes from the hatred towards me. She slowly shuffled to me.

"I... have a message."

"From your dad, I'm guessing?"

She nodded with an eye roll.

Ugh, young teens are so dramatic.

"What does he want?"

"... You... and Jay..."

"What for?"

"He knows... he knows about your little sessions with the Avengers. He knows what you've told them. He knows how your precious uncle Ben has been. He's planning an attack."
