Jay

Rudy ignored me for the rest of the flight. I kept my gaze on her just in case.

She really should let her feelings out. She'd be less... like this.

I sighed and leaned back on my seat.

"We're here. Get ready." Nat walked by and pulled Rudy's headphones from her head.

Rudy gave her a quick glare when she wasn't looking. We both got up and straightened out our suits. My mask formed over my face and the hood, too. Rudy commanded Monday to put her mask up, and she did so. We both cracked our knuckles and necks to have a dramatic fight scene effect.

We are the coolest duo.

My brain flipped.

We would be the coolest trio if he hadn't left. No. Shut up, stupid head.

"Ready guys?" Clint, pat our backs and stood between us.

"As we'll ever be." We said in unison.

"Parachutes for everyone except Rudy!" Nat passed parachutes at Clint and me.

I chuckled a bit and was about to make a joke to Rudy, but when I turned around, she was jumping out.

"Uhh... does she know where she's going?" I pointed at the falling Rudy.

"Nope. We should go."

Clint strapped himself up and jumped. Then Nat, then me.

I watched the ground near, and at the perfect time, I pulled the strings. I glided peacefully, following Clint and Nat. We landed near some sort of warehouse or old factory. It seemed abandoned, but I could hear yelling.

"Be careful. Be silent. Take down the guy with the arm." Nat explained briefly and disappeared with Clint.

"Guy with the arm? What the heck does that mean?"

We crouched down and crawled behind the building swiftly. Looking in the windows carefully, looking for the source of the screams.

"I don't know. But we'll probably figure it out."

Figure it out? This is a terrible mission.

I facepalmed but continued on.

"DS. Here." Rudy waved me over.

Ugh. That name is not going away.

I crawled beside her and looked up through the window to see a dude with a metal arm killing citizens.

I'm guessing he's the dude with the arm?

"Do you have a plan yet?" Rudy asked impatiently.

I took a second to concentrate then figured it out.

"Yes. Come on."

I grabbed her hand and pulled her with me quickly to the back. I explained the plan and she went up to the roof. Since she was the stronger one, she would deal with metal arm, and I would get the living hostages out. I got into place. She looked down at me, and I looked up at her. We gave each other a thumbs up.

Rudy

Here goes nothing.

I dropped myself through the broken hole in the roof and landed behind the metal arm dude. He looked back at me fiercely. It gave me chills.

Sheesh, he's creepy.

I took position. He turned fully to me and stood for a minute, and held up his gun. He pointed it at me.
