It's been four months since everything that happened, which Madison refuses to talk about. It hurts to find out your best-friend is a psycho killer, that tried to kill you.

After being put in a medical induced coma, Madison Miller learned the gun shot barley missed her bone, she was very lucky to be alive the doctors, and her mom told her. She didn't feel lucky, she had to throw out all of her revealing clothes because she was embarrassed of her scars. The group of friends were all over the country, there irl stab movie going viral.

After physical therapy today Madison went over to the Meeks house, today was the day they found out if they all got early admission into Blackmore University in New York. They all wanted to leave this shithole of a town.

Once she sat down she heard a very excited squeal. "I got in!" Tara shouted looking over at her letter on her cracked phone. "So did I." Mindy held up her letter, then hugged Tara. "What about you?" Tara asked Madison who was to scared to check, even though Blackmore had a 80% acceptance rate. "I'll check later, with my mom." Madison picked at her nails, noticing her boyfriend Chad was no where to be seen.

"Where is Chad?" Madi questioned looking at Mindy. "He's at football, he should be home in an hour or so." Mindy answered checking the time.

Madison was only allowed to be out and about 2 hours per day, she had to go home already. She still wasn't cleared to drive yet, so her mom was her personal driver.

Once she got home she ran to her mailbox. There it was! The letter determining her future. She ripped it opened, and started proofreading it until she got to the point where it read...

waitlisted.

Her heart broke, how the hell did she get waitlist at school with a 80% acceptance rate? Sure, she missed school a lot of school, but that wasn't her fault.

She also had to stretch out her back and shoulder muscles for about forty five minutes a day, or that's what her doctor recommended. She couldn't go to the gym today because she already wasted her 2 hours today, so she decided to run on the treadmill.

Her music blasting from her AirPods made the room sound proof. "Mads!" Chad was yelling at the sweaty girl, but she couldn't hear him. He pulled out one of her AirPods now getting her attention.

Madison slowed down to greet him," hey babe."
"Are you ok?" Chad questioned, noticing the sadness in her eyes. "Can we talk after I'm done here?" She asked a bit annoyed. "I'll be in your room." Chad walked away his butt slightly moving as he went up the stairs.

After she finished she slowly walked upstairs, hanging her head the whole way up. She opened the door to see Chad snuggled up under her comforter, clearly tired from football.

"What did you want to talk about?" Chad sat up while she wiped the sweat from her forehead with a towel. "I got waitlisted." She basically whispered but by the look on his face you could tell he heard. "That's not funny." He told her in disbelief, while she took of her shirt revealing a blue sports bra and her scars. "Does it look like I'm fucking laughing?" Madison took her anger out on Chad.

"Why are you getting mad at me?" Chad let out. "I'm not!" She shouted turning her back to him, to look for a shirt. "yes you are." Chad replied making her so mad. Why couldn't he just say something supportive or encouraging? It was always about him!

"I think we should take a break." Chad uttered, but she heard him loud and clear. She immediately turned around to look at the boy who was avoiding her eyes. "Are you fucking serious? You want to take a break?" Madi attempted to hold back the tears, but she couldn't. He was all she had that was actually hers.

"We've been through so much, it's healthy to take time apart." Chad calmly explained to her, like she was child. Another one of his problems, he always undermined her. "Thats bullshit! It's either we break up or stay together!" Madison had a pit in her stomach, deep down she knew his answer.

"Then we can break up." Chad mumbled not even shedding a single tear. It felt like he didn't care one bit. He stood up and walked to the door, was he leaving?  They weren't done talking.

"If you walk out that door, your never coming back!" Madi yelled while crying with anger. "Maybe you should apply to another school." Chad left.

Apply to another school? That's horrible. She thought he really loved her. Why did he do this? Fuck him. And his stupid ugly inconsiderate heart.

Madison went to her moms room crying, she needed a hug. While she was in there she didn't see her mom, but she did see something in her trash. It was the real Blackmore letter...

accepted.

Her own mom lied to her! Her world was slowly falling apart. She phoned her friends in the group chat, so angry at the world.

"We heard you got waitlisted, we are really sorry."
(Mindy)

"And the Chad situation."
(Tara)

"Can you come over?"
(Madison)

"We can't sorry. We have bigger problems, we need to pack for COLLEGE baby."

"You have bigger problems Tara?"

"We are sorry, but we have a future to look ahead to, so we need to make sure we look good."

"It's not our fault you didn't get in."

"I did get in."

"Your being delusional Goodbye Madi."

How could her friends say that stuff to her? Fuck them who needs friends?
