The wine is cold
Like the shoulder that I gave you in the street
Cat and mouse for a month or two or three
Now I wake up in the night and watch you breathe

Y/n stepped out of her house, inhaling deeply. Walking few steps ahead, she climbed the stairs of his house, knocking on the door.

She waited for Nagi to come out of his, but he was taking his sweet time. Few minutes more, and the door clicked, revealing the pretty boy, leaning against the door frame.

Her eyes stuck on him. Y/n sucked her breath, looking up to meet his eyes. Brown, with some light streaks of golden and monotone filling of black in the orbs.

His white, snowy bangs laid over his forehead, the pale skin having soft texture, and light pink lips. Standing in front of her, in his white hoodie and white sweatpants. "I know I am stunning." He deadpanned.

Y/n snapped out, hearing him making comment, before giving a smirk. Darting her eyes, on the floor, feeling her heating face, Y/n mumbled a sorry.

"Come in." He moved aside, letting her in his house. His house was a lot more spacious and luxurious. Not exquisitely-but it was pretty and comfy.

Big, white sofa sets in the middle of the living room, a LED tv to the front and bright white lights, high lime-colored walls, mostly brown expensive furniture.

Dude lives a totally prince life, practically.

"Your house is lovely." She spoke with a smile, her eyes wandering around taking the quick glimpse of every corner. However, she herself knew how envious was she of his wealth and comfort. Her brows raised earning a scoff from him.

"It's my parents house." He mustered, walking past her, to the coffee table. It was almost like he read through her head. Picking up the remote he turned off the television. She felt her tongue twisted, but eventually perked, confidently and curious somewhat, hearing him being pretty arrogant and snarky. "So what? It's your too." He clicked his tongue, "Nah. I don't like the color of walls." And shrugged his shoulders. She had no idea whether she should laugh or just stay quiet, he was being either arrogant or ignorant about the life he lives.

It didn't sound like a joke though. Y/n bit her lips in hesitation, fidgeting with her fingers. Nagi, who was now, sitting on his couch, shifted his eyes at her, "Hey, that was a joke. You were supposed to laugh." He chuckled, scooting to the one side of the couch, giving her space.

She finally exhaled out, giving a low chuckle. But- talking to him- joking around with him-wasn't a every day incident-and then when it's coming from her crush. Who she all did was admire from afar for all last two years, wondering any chance-any least change of relationship with him. But the world did spin around.

Taking slow steps she approached him sitting next to him. He put his elbows on his knees, leaning a bit to front staring at her small figure. "So? Why you wanted to meet me this late?"

She was just too nervous to start with the topic. It is too strang and pretty awkward. Sitting next to him-in his house. Y/n never thought, she would be ever able to do it. She looked down at her lap, clearing her throat. "I.." she turned to face him.

"..I just wanted to put some ground rules."

"Ground rules?" His brows scrunched slightly, with a light chuckle. Nagi was highly intrigued with her certain demand for 'ground rules'. His fingers flew to his bottom lip, erecting his elbow on the knee.

She nodded, pulling out a piece of paper from her pocket, with a pen. She sighed heavily before unfolding the page and giving it to him.

Why is it so awkward? Everything was fine this morning.
