I like shiny things, but I'd marry you with paper rings
Uh huh, that's right
Darling, you're the one I want, and
I hate accidents except when we went from friends to this

"Just a week more to go to end this torture and for the Christmas." Nia sighed heavily rubbing her nose with another tissue paper. She caught cold and was at home.

Last weekend, at the Thanksgiving, which was organised at Nia's place, she drank a load of cold drink as a bet with Bachira, which ended up both of them catching cold.

She wasn't allowed to be at school, without any emergency, until she's not fit and Bachira was banished from the field. He was sulking at home as well.
She even prohibited Rin from visiting her otherwise he might also get sick. Poor boy, it was like he is asked to give up his football.

He hardly pays attention on anything and constantly asks Y/n about Nia, even though he talks her almost all day long.

Y/n chuckled nodding to her. "I think so too. I hope you get well sooner to celebrate Christmas. At my place, because you know my dad's coming." She smiles, putting the phone down, placing it against the tissue paper box, while face-timing to Nia, who was stuffed in her bed, with a red nose.

"Wow! That's..." sneeze "..great.." sneeze "news."

Y/n giggled. "God bless you." Nia nodded with a tired smile. "Sorry."

"Don't bother. Take some rest. Drink hot water and proper meds. You'll be fine in no time."

"Yes, mamma." Nia teased in her baby voice. Making Y/n laugh. She was laughing and smiling like she was always this happy. Like her past traumatic days were never there. Like her insecurities, her unassertiveness, self-doubts and troubles never bothered her.

"Oh my! That smile looks so pretty on you. I hope you never stop smiling, Y/n." Nia's words of affirmation filled the small void with emotions. Only if she was here, Y/n would've hugged her.

She smiled to her friend. "Thank you, Nia. I truly believe in that."

"And I also know the reason behind those though." Y/n scowled when Nia wiggled her brows.

"What are you talking about?" She took a sip of her coffee. Nia sighed heavily rubbing her temples, dramatically. "Oh this silly girl." She mutters enough coherently so that Y/n can hear.

"You know, just spoil a woman with good gifts and orgasms, enough to make her smile. And he's not only serving you with that, but also worships on the ground you walk, bitch. Damnit! You're so lucky!"

Y/n blushed, laughing out loud listening to her friend's whining.

"You're the one to talk? Your boyfriend asks me ten...no twenty! Times a day about you, even though being with you on phone twenty-four seven. What do you think about that?"

"That's his caring side. I love it. Always do. But your man takes you out on dinner dates to the exquisite Italian hotels, gives you his jerseys, beats the crap out of your stalker, brings you notes to home, comes my home to ask me what you're allergic too, and that is coming from the sex God of the college! God, he's so much better."

"Rin is coming this way, i should share the norms with—"

"Don't you dare, bitch, I'll fucking die, and before that I'll kill you."

Y/n laughed again, wheezing and chortling. Even being on the digital convo, it doesn't feel at all that Nia is far away from her.

"Don't worry. He isn't. But I think we can do share anything about our boys. And I must say, Rin is also one of a kind I mean, he is stoic and broody, and everything in between that can be called predatory, until Nia Max, walks in."
