Chapter 3: The Second Floor.

Right now on the second floor of the dungeon, dezso was exploring trying to see what kind of monsters await him.

Dezso- *thoughts* "hm, so this is the second floor. While I do see some monsters from the first floor here. Most of the monsters here are new. And what's more."

Dezso looks around and sees all kinds of new monsters. Like giant spiders and insects, flying whales and flying dolphins wearing Armour and even giant wolves.

Dezso- *thoughts* "every single monster I see here looks much more dangerous than the monsters from the first floor. Well then, let's see how I fare against them."

Dezso approaches a giant spider and prepares to fight him. Dezso once again brings out his signature dagger and activates his power. He dashes towards the spider, landing the first strike. The giant spider takes a lot of damage from that strike but is still alive.

Dezso-! The monsters here are definitely stronger.

The spider lunges at dezso trying to land it's fangs on dezso. However, dezso manages to dodge the attack.

Dezso- thier faster too.

The spider keeps trying to attack dezso but none of his attacks are reaching him. Dezso eventually manages to get behind the spider.

Dezso- however, you're open!

When dezso was about to strike the spider from the back, the spider's instinct kicked in and it fired a large amount of silk towards dezso. This manages to hit dezso and stick him to the wall.

Dezso- gahh! W-what is this?

Gloria- this is spider silk master. It is extremely sticky amd hard to remove making it perfect for trapping enemies. However, spider silk is weak to fire.

Dezso- fire huh, then I got a plan.

Dezso continues to struggle against the spider silk but is unable to get out. This causes the spider to lower his guard down and approach dezso.

Dezso- *thoughts* "that's right, just keep coming towards me."

The spider eventually climbs on dezso's trapped body and is preparing to bite his head. However, when the spider reached dezso's hand height. Dezso used his fire magic.

Dezso- got you.

Dezso then fired a powerful fire spell which pierced right through the spider silk and the spider's abdomen, killing the monster and setting himself free.

Dezso- phew, that was close, if I didn't have access to fire magic it would have ended badly for me.

From this fight, dezso learned two lessons, one is that he needed to get better at using the elements and also, he needed to be more cautious of the monsters around here. The monsters of this floor have more tricks up their sleeves than dezso could imagine. He needs to be more cautious otherwise he may find himself in a similar situation like before.

Dezso- welp, it's time to do my usual routine.

And again, dezso made a small base for himself and started to train, however, in addition to training his power, body and martial arts, Dezso also trained his magical prowess. He got better at using the five elements that he was used to. Fire, earth, lightning, water and ice. And since he couldn't use that much magic in his human form, he decided to make up for it by creating weapons that use the elements. More specifically, he made two shortswords one for fire and one for ice, nunchucks for lightning, two guns that shoots ice bullets, and a wand that shoots out water spells. After making his preparations. He targeted the spider and other insect-like monsters and did his usual routine.
