Chapter 28: Just Peaceful Days Ahead... Right?

The citizens of Planeptune continued to work tirelessly for the restoration effort, not a single day passed without someone helping to rebuild a destroyed building or to support others by giving food or water. And just like this, 2 months have passed before it was finally complete. Planeptune has been rebuilt to its former glory. All the citizens including dezso cheered when they realized what they had done. And so normality finally returned to the daily lives of the citizens including dezso.

Dezso- I wonder how Natalie has been.

Right now, dezso was walking to the guild to see Natalie again and get back to doing some more monster extermination quests. During the restoration effort, Dezso didn't see a single sign of Natalie. This isn't a strange thing as not everyone had to participate in the rebuilding effort, the people who were automatically excluded were children, the elderly, and those with medical conditions, but there were also some who chose not to participate as well. Natalie could have just been one of these people who chose not to participate, but there was also the off chance that Natalie was injured during the attack and so dezso worried about her for the past 2 months.

Dezso opened the doors expecting to see Natalie nose deep into paperwork as she usually is, and while he did indeed see Natalie which brought relief to his heart, the other thing he saw was not what he expected.

??? - WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN'T DO THAT!

Right in front of Natalie's reception desk, there were a group of four people standing right infront of her, the one who shouted was the one in the middle who looked like the leader of the group.

Natalie- well, things just don't work like that sir. If you wish to join the adventure's guild ranks, you have to start from the bottom like everyone else did.

Natalie was putting up her hands infront of her while speaking with a strained smile, trying to calm down the person in front of her.

??? - CAN'T YOU SEE THAT WE'RE DIFFERENT! WE'RE FAR STRONGER THAN THESE NOBODIES! WE MANAGED TO DEFEAT AN ANCIENT DRAGON BEFORE WE DECIDED TO COME HERE! WE SHOULD GET SPECIAL TREATMENT!

Dezso was getting a little irritated that someone was shouting at his dear friend, so he decided to confront them.

Natalie- like I keep saying sir, I can't just- oh dezso.

??? - huh?

Just as Natalie was about to explain to the person again, she noticed dezso walking up towards them and smiled as she called out his name. The group noticed her reaction and turned to look behind them, and they were shocked to see dezso tower over them.

Dezso- May I ask what is this commotion about?

As dezso addressed the group of four, not one of them could answer his question. The reason being.

??? - *thoughts* "what the hell? What is this... pressure?! Who is this guy?!"

Dezso- will you not answer me?

The more that dezso spoke, the more pressure was added, causing the group to feel even more crushed then before. After seeing that the group would not answer his question, he diverted his attention away from them and decided to ask Natalie instead. This caused the pressure towards the group to drop and made them automatically sigh in relief.

Dezso- *smile* Natalie, it's good to see again.

Natalie- *smile* it's good to see you too Danzel, I really did miss seeing that mask for yours everyday.
