I woke up feeling nauseous. Sunlight was shining through. I sleepily pulled the white drapes shut. Then I felt it coming.
I sprinted to the bathroom and opened it. Thank God for individual bathrooms. I reached the toiletbowl and started puking.
I felt somebody pull back my hair as I puked. After a while, I stood up and flushed it. To my surprise, the one holding back my hair was Mia.
"Ew, go wash your lips or something. There's puke," she groaned.
I immediately ran to the sink and brushed my teeth. Mia left. Oh gosh. Now I remembered. The memories flooded back to me.

25, 26, 27, I lost count as I stuffed the meatballs into my mouth. I triumphantly looked at Alex, who was choking and spitting out his meatballs. I took another shot of champagne and roared as I finished everything. I had a tiny crowd looking at me and cheering me on.
________________I groaned. I had never taken alcohol. Ever. The migraine settled in. I clutched my forehead in pain. I managed to stumble out and winced at the sunlight.
"Hangover?" asked Mia, who was rapidly texting on her phone.
"Yeah. Is there any...?" I asked.
"Tylenol? You should try it. It works wonders. It's in the fridge," she responded. I staggered all the way to the fridge and found the Tylenol. Wow, it really worked. I could feel it's magic.
"Thanks, Mia. Where's Akira?" I asked.
"Does it look like I am her mom???" and with that, Mia was back to her snappy style.
I awkwardly shuffled back to my bathroom where I brushed my teeth and hopped into the shower. It was Saturday and we have like 1 week of free time and to settle in. I lazily slipped on a grey sweater with green shorts and the Keds from last night.
"Is there room service?" I muttered.
"Duh, I was just gonna ask you to hand me the menu in the cabinet," Mia said, "by the way, it was pretty impressive of you to win that eating competition."
"Oh, Ummmm... Thanks?" I inquired. Mia was being a bit... Odd. I handed her one menu and took another for myself.
After grabbing my breakfast (cinnamon French Toast), I went out for a walk. After all, the campus was beautiful and I wanted to take time drinking it all down. It was like a Secret Garden. There was green grass everywhere with cherry blossom trees. There was also a fountain with crystal clear water. I leaned forward and looked at my reflection. The girl in the water looked... Different. She looked happier and her skin seemed to be glowing. The scenery behind her was GORGEOUS and there was also a really cute guy behind her....
Splash! I fell head first into the water. I looked up angrily. There, laughing, was Alex.
"Surprised, Jelly?" he asked.
"Jelly...?"
"Yup, that's what you asked me to call you. You said that we were the perfect match and I was the Peanut Butter while you were the jelly. Don't tell me you forgot all that?" he grinned cheekily.
I inwardly winced. I got to take control of drunk Jessica.
"You're blushing!!!" he shrieked with laughter. I hastily covered up my face.
"Ugh, I just showered and I have to change... Again! By the way, where's Akira?" I asked.
"Apparently here, someone dropped her coloured contacts into her coffee and she thought it dried up so it didn't hurt to put it on. Unfortunately, if you didn't notice, Rara here is a bit on the daft side," he said.
"Hey!!! Don't be so mean!!!" I said, giving him a friendly punch.
"Hey, I gotta run but since I pushed you into the fountain, I owe you. Why don't I make it up by dinner tonight?" he asked.
I blushed. Alex kind of asked me out on a date.
"Awwww... You think of it as a date! You're in love with me!" he winked.
"No!!! Ugh, never mind, I will just meet you for dinner at my dorm then," I mumbled, running away.
That's when I realized I never asked him the details.

So, it is the holiday. And I promised in the last chapter I would update more. But I only did after one week. Sorry!!! Let's just say next time I make a promise, don't take it to heart. I am probably the worst disciplined Wattpadder. Is that even a word? Oh, who cares. :-P
Teaser: Jessica anxiously waits for her date.
