Cameron and I were almost at our stop. I set down my book then I look at her. She fell asleep on me a little while ago. I smile softly and wrap my arm around her and rest my head on hers and slowly drift off to sleep myself.
CAMERONS P.O.V.
My eyes flutter open tiredly. I rub my eyes and look around. I spot a big hand on my shoulder to find out that's it's James'. I smile and look up at him to find that he's asleep. I giggle quietly and shake him a little.
"James," I whisper.
BACK TO JAMES P.O.V.
I feel someone shake me and my eyes open slowly.
"Wh-What...," I mumble. I turn to see Cam.
"We're almost-" she starts but the squeak of the subway train's breaks interrupt her. "We're here," she finishes. I nod and grab my bag as she does the same. I keep my arm around Cam protectively until we get up and walk off. She checks the map again, looking at the streets. I stay silent and wait patiently.
"Okay um...," she starts then taps at the map. "We just need to get here. Then I know the way." I nod.
"Okay, sounds good," I respond. We start walking up the stairs, then out.
Cameron and I get to the right street and I follow her into a tall, brick building. She walks into the lobby and gets in one of the elevators. I follow and we go up to what I think is the third floor. I can hear her mumbling a number as she looks for a room. She stops and I almost run into her. Cam knocks on the brown, wooden door and it opens to a tall man around the age of 45. He looks down at us and I realize how much he looks like Max and Cam. The same sparkling, green eyes.
"Daddy?"
"Cameron?"
