"Five more minutes, hyung." We both know that won't just be five minutes but oh well. The person shakes me again. "Hyunggggg~"
"Come on man, you got to get up." That didn't sound like my hyungs. It wakes me up, because that isn't right.
Opening my eyes slightly, I notice it's not too bright, so I continue with it. In front of me is a complete stranger. Where am I? At least he looks concerned, not in a saesang-like mood.
"Sir?"
"I'm glad you're up kid. You and your friend were lucky." Friend? Singular? Where are my hyungs? Lucky? He continued, "You were in the road, someone could've hit you. My son and I had to drag you over to the bridge's sidewalk." Oh.
It's too early for this. Where are my hyungs? I can't remember what happened last night. I look around paranoid. What if the media gets ahold of this? I can already see the headline, 'The maknae of Stray Kids gets black-out drunk and falls asleep in the road after doing reckless activity.' Staff will be pissed. Management will be pissed. JYP will be pissed.
Where are my hyungs?
"Kid?"
"Sorry sir, this is just a lot to take in so early. I don't remember anything from last night." I frown. "You said there was someone with me?"
"It's alright kid, just be careful, you never know who you're gonna meet." He nods his head behind me. "Him." I turn around, follow his motion and see the body. Relief floods me. Hyung. Lee Know-hyung.
"Minho-hyung!" I grin. And even if it's selfish, I can only think, thank god I'm not alone. Turning back around, I state, "Thank you so much sir." I bow as much as my position allows me.
"Of course, kid," he smiled, "You and your friend get home safe." He walks calmly back to a parked car and starts conversing with someone inside—I assume his son. He waves cheerily as they drive off, spraying stray specks of gravel and dirt in all directions.
I nod, waving back, before crawling to Lee Know-hyung. "Hyung! Get up!" I grasp his shoulders and shake. Luckily, he's a light sleeper and easily wakes up from that.
He blearily blinks his eyes open before focusing them on me. "Innie? What are you doing up? Today's a day off." He smiles warmly, but with Lee Know, everything's a mischievous smirk.
"Look around! We're under some bridge in Seoul!"
At that, he immediately sits up and glances at our surroundings. He opens his mouth to speak but nothing comes out except puffs of air. He looks just as astounded as I feel.
Then he looks at me. "What- what happened?"
"I don't know. I can't remember." I look away. "We were in the road, hyung. We could have gotten hit!"
He bites his lip. "Okay. We'll figure this out. Let's get home first. Maybe we sleepwalked out here. No one knows. But it'll be fine. Just fine."
We both get up, our backs are soaked with some smelly substance. Wrinkling my nose in disgust, I easily picture of all the possible options. Not one is more appeasing than another. Pee. Throw up. Sewage. If I was hungry before, I'm not anymore. Hell, I don't think I could carry any food with this headache of mine. And unfortunately, all it does is support my black-out drunk suspicion.
My red, loose dry-fit tee is stuck fast to my back. My black shorts are damp as well, but you can't tell. Minho-hyung's navy-themed outfit is in a similar situation, the loose shirt ironed to his back but, unlike me, the shorts are tightly pressed around his thighs all way round. They are soaked all the way through. If I feel as bad as I do, I can't imagine how shitty he must feel.
