~EARTH, OCTOBER 1, 1989~
I immerged out of a cave, running and hitting the ground. It was pouring rain, the sky very cloudy. I moved my fingers around, getting used to the feeling of being out of that dark, closed in cave. The rain hit my hair, and I smiled, loving the feeling of being free, and loving the rain. I looked down at my hands, and saw that I was blue! I looked around, seeing the dark area, filled with holes. There were broken machines, left and right. I tried to climb up a rock, but it was too wet from the rain. I frowned, sad that I couldn't get to the top. I looked around again, and saw that I was alone. Nobody else was there but me. I stood up, looking at my hands again, then at the rain. I saw some people, coming straight towards me. It was a short lady that had purple skin, and lavender hair. She had hair covering her eye, and purple stars on the knees of her black pants. Another that had peach colored skin, and beautiful pink curly hair that went down to her hips. She had a white dress on, and a star around her gem. Another one that looked close to that, but skinnier, and wore yellow shorts with a teal shirt, a star right on the middle. Lastly, a girl who was purple-ish, and had black hair with glasses. Her outfit was odd, almost like she had armor on.

"I really dont think she's gonna be here. And in the rain too-!?" The skinny one said, staring at me. "A lapis? In the kindergarten?" She spoke again. I looked around, confused.

"Aww. She seems lost." The pink haired one said in a soothing voice, picking me up. "Hey, what are you doing here?" I blinked at her. She smiled, adoring me. "Where did you come from?" I looked at the hole I immerged from, and pointed to it.

"Guys! She was just made here. Like me!" The one with purple skin said, excitingly. I smiled at her, slightly. She gasped, excited that a possible new member was joining the Crystal Gems. "What should we name her?" The one with pink hair chuckled and sat me down.

"How about Lapis?" The skinny one suggested, smiling at the idea.

"Meh, too boring." Her smile was immediately token away, offended. "Ooh! Ooh! How about.. Amethyst!" They turned to her, seeing if she was serious.

"Or.. how about Y/N." The one with glasses suggested. She had a British voice, and her glasses flashed.

They stared at me, admiring it. "Y/N. Its perfect." I smiled, seeing that they were happy. "Aww! Guys, she likes it!" On the 12th hour of the first day of October 1989, 43 women around the world gave birth. This was unusual only in the fact that none of these women had been pregnant when the day first began. The purple one held my hand, helping me walk. Suddenly, they heard someone behind them. They stopped, turning around. Thunder loudly boomed in the air, and I jumped, going slightly behind the one with purple hair.

He seemed to be old, and he had an black umbrella in his hand, along had a monocle on his eye. "Oh! There you are, Lapis. I'm sorry, this is my cousins daughter." He coughed. "Adopted." He said, lowly. "She needs to be returned home right now. Thank you for finding her!" They looked around, and the purple one held my hand slightly tighter. The one with the white dress looked at her, signaling her to let go. She rolled her eyes, letting me go. "Come on now." Me and the purple one gave a look, the man pulling me away. Sir Reginald Hargreeves, eccentric billionaire and adventurer, resolved to locate and adopt as many of these children as possible.
HE GOT EIGHT OF THEM.

~MAY 15 2002~

They were 12, and being experimented on. Forced to go on missions, even if they didn't want to. Forced to use their powers, even if they were ashamed. Y/N Lazuli was ashamed of how she was living. It was weird. She knew her real name, Y/N Lazuli. But of course, back at the Umbrella Academy, she was forced to be Lapis Hargreeves. Not to mention that she oddly knows her name, but nothing else about where she came from, or her family. I heard a familiar knock on the door. Five and I were close, we had a handshake, a secret door knock, everything. I looked at him with blue hair in my face and droopy eyes. I sighed. "Come in."
