My gem slowly formed back to my original body. I stretched, finally out of that place. Garnet, Pearl, and Amethyst looked at me, shocked. "Oh. Sup, guys. That was a good 15 minute nap." Garnet took off her glasses, showing her three eyes. Everybody was shocked to see me, for some reason.
"15 minutes?! More like 15 years!" Pearl yelled.
I blinked at her. "15 years..?" I looked around. The base has changed. I shrugged. "Eh. How you guys been-"
Amethyst cut me off with a hug. I hugged back, chuckling. "You cant leave me like that, ever again." She said, tears in her eyes.
I chuckled again. "Well, I seem to do that a lot. So no promises." She smiled at me sadly, and I returned it. "I'm really sorry." I apologized.
She chuckled, hugging me again. "I forgive you." We let go, and when I was gonna get a snack, I saw someone walk through the door with a bag of what seemed like greasy fry bits. My mouth dropped to the floor. "Steven?! Is that really you?"
He looked at me, confused. "Uhh, guys? Who is this?" We all chuckled at him at his confusion.
"This is Y/N! The best person ever." Amethyst explained, putting her arm around my shoulder.
I giggled. "I wouldn't say that.."
She turned her head at me, giving me the 'seriously?' look. We laughed. "She was here when you were super tiny!" She explained.
He nodded, smiling. "Well, I'm Steven." He said, putting his hand out for a handshake. "Oh wait, you already knew that." He said, taking the hand back and scratching the back of his neck, awkwardly.
I laughed. "Well, how has everyone been?" I asked, sitting back down.
"Without you, terrible." Amethyst said, leaning against a wall.
I frowned. "Come on. You couldn't have missed me that much!"
"Trust me, she did." Pearl said in a slightly annoyed tone, sitting down as well.
"Like your new form, by the way." Garnet complemented, her arms crossed.
I smiled, looking down at my outfit. "Thanks." I had changed my hair to L/H (length of your hair) and made my outfit slightly different, wearing (whatever you want).
"Well, we were about to go on a mission. Wanna come along?" I smiled, nodding. Steven had to stay since he wasn't totally trained yet. I waved goodbye and warped away.
