Its officially been a year since I've left the Umbrella Academy. Its been hard, but I've been happier. I tried to ignore the fact that its also been a year since Five and I got in an argument, but I couldn't stop thinking about him.
"Sup, Y/N." Amethyst greeted.
"Hi." I said, sadly.
"What's wrong?" She asked, sitting next to me.
I shook my head. "Nothing. What's on the agenda today?" I asked, ignoring the question.
She thought for a moment. "Uhh... I think we're going to see Peridot today."
My face lit up. "Yes!" I celebrated.
Amethyst sighed. She didn't really like Peridot all that much. She said she had a bad feeling about her, or something. I always ignored it. I knew she was just jealous. "I think we're going now." She told me.
"Alright, lets go." I said, smirking. "I'll race you."
She smiled. "Oh, your on." We raced to the barn, and Amethyst won, unfortunately.
I groaned. "Ughh! How do you always win?!" I complained.
She smirked. "Maybe your just bad."
I rolled my eyes, and went inside the barn. "P? You in here?" I yelled. I heard something clattering, and her yelping.
"AAH!" She ran over towards me. "W-What are you doing in here? Your not supposed to be here!" She yelled.
I blinked, confused. "We just came to visit, remember? You said we could come over today." I reminded.
She gulped. "I think you must have the wrong day." She said, pushing us out of the barn. "Nice to see you but.. uh- bye!" She said, slamming the doors.
I turned to Amethyst, confused. "Somethings up with her."
Amethyst shrugged. "Maybe we should just leave."
I shook my head. "No, I don't think we should." I disagreed with her. I was concerned. "We should check up on her." I said, banging on the door.
Amethyst rolled her eyes. "Y/N, leave it be." She said, softly.
I ignored her. I couldn't afford to loose another friend. I just couldn't. "Peri! What's going on!?" She didn't answer, and I stopped banging for a moment. I sighed. "She's left me no choice." I took a few steps back, and ran towards the door, bracing for impact. I bursted through the door, breaking it. I looked around, and didn't see anyone around. "Peri?" I said, a little scared. It was dark, and silent, my footsteps being the only thing that you could hear. I looked around, and saw a flashing light. I walked towards it, and saw Peridot, constructing something. "Peri?"
