I saw Five walking on a sidewalk, and dived down towards him. He paused, looking at me. "She sent you, didn't she?" He asked, simply.

"Whaaat! No! Of course not!" He just glared at me with a straight face. I sighed in defeat. "Yeah, yeah, she sent me." He sighed and continued to walk. "Wait- Five. I did want to tell you something though." I said, grabbing his shoulder.

He turned to me. "What, Y/N? What could you possibly want?!" He yelled. I blinked. He was mad. Really mad. I fucked up, big time. "I trusted you, Y/N." I wanted to cry. "If you have any more secrets, go ahead! Tell them all to me. I'll be your guest."

I held in my tears. "I-" I sighed. "Fine." Five's face went blank, surprised that I agreed. I sighed. "I-I don't even know where to start." I laughed, a tear nearly falling down my face. I saw a black limbo coming towards us.

"Listen. What you did was.. I don't know how to put it." Five started.

"Five."

"But I just want you to tell me the truth! I'm your friend.. Maybe.. more than friends.. But-"

"Five!" He shut up. The limbo approached us and the man rolled down his window. The man handed us a letter. Five took it and the man drove away. He opened it and chuckled. "What?"

"Dad has invited us to a 'light supper' tonight."

I inhaled sharply. "Fuck. Five, I just can't go-"

He raised his brows. "If you want my forgiveness, I want you to tell me everything. No more secrets." I looked down and he caressed my face, making me look up at him. I blushed. "So. You gonna tell me?"

"Uh- yeah."

He chuckled, letting go. "I knew that would work."

I covered my tinted face. "Shut up." He took my hand and brought me to Elliot's. I sighed. "I guess I'll start at the beginning." I said, coffee in hand. "I got up from the alley. It was our birthday, 1961. Amethyst re-formed and we needed a place to stay." There was silence.

"So?"

I sighed. "So.. we couldn't find one. For.. months." I laughed. "We hardly even had any food. Not to mention the racism." I didn't want to continue.
